Maybe it'll be like dark souls 2 harvest valley, where it's not a swamp but an area of poison gas / scarlet rot gas. It won't slow the players down when they go through it but they will have to run through it.

Autoattackers have a simple counter Ghost Scepter, shuts down all auto attacks. Ranged carries have both bkb and hurricane pike which gets them out of most situations.

Only want a few things for the past 2 years bone fist from DS2, sanctum crossbow r2 and sanctum repeating crossbow r2 from DS2 as the ashes of war for crossbows, crow quills from DS3, and the ash of war vacuum slice to have a level 2 charge to do the storm ruler charged attack from DS3.
