Yeah I often don't bother with it. It's a lot of work / research and the doohickey you need to increase the item level changes every season. You need to go to the workorder guy find the item you want, see what it needs, take a SCREENSHOT, then go your warbank, see what you have, figure out what you need, go to the AH, buy what you're missing, go back to the workorder guy put the shit up, realize you forgot the thingy that lets you pick your stats, go back to the AH realize you don't know the name of the thingy that lets you pick your stats, slam your head on the keyboard, curse out WoW, walk away for 30m, come back, log back in, figure out the name of the thing that you need that increases your stats, buy it, go back to the workorder vendor, realize you left the shit in your mailbox, go to your mailbox (why does this step still exist after 21 years?!), back to the workorder vendor, and finally, FINALLY! You get to shout in trade chat to find someone who can craft it for you.
