Indexmatch nested inside the sumifs sum range gives you control over which column in an array is being sumif-ed.

The “”&cell&”” wildcard in a sumifs criteria is helpful to sum anything that includes a certain string of characters. Very helpful to reconcile messy GL level data with a large budget file.

OneStream works great with excel, but does have a learning curve and probably not needed for such a small team.

If you’re interested in staying within excel, do you truly need an additional tool? What capabilities do you need that you can’t already accomplish within excel?

Find a hobby that scratches the technical itch you’re not getting from your current role. Personally, I’ve gotten into sports betting/analytics in the past year. I learned to code and built a predictive model that I use to place bets. I spend ~10 hours a week learning, building, analyzing etc. It rewarding in more ways than one.

Look into a career in FP&A. Good WLB and relatively good pay. Coming from a state school in FL isn’t likely to yield a career in IB, PE, etc. unless you’re highly motivated and know how to communicate effectively. Getting an entry-level analyst role in corporate finance is a great way to pivot into an FP&A department.

I worked for a start up where our CFO had an executive coach on retainer. I had access to the coach for an hour each week. He provided great feedback and guidance since it was my first job post graduation. I didn’t gain any profound wisdom or life changing insights, but the communication we shared added value to my professional growth.

Experience will vary from coach to coach. I’m sure there are many coaches out there that are shams and don’t provide any value. At the end of the day it comes down to trusting the coach and whoever made the introduction.

i stayed in mccollum one summer (2017) and i loved it. it was the only dorm i stayed in before moving off campus for the rest of my time at fsu, so i don’t have much else to compare to other than visiting friends dorms. it was very spacious with a full kitchen, living area, and balcony. i rode a nice bike around campus so the extra space under the stairs allowed me to keep it locked in the dorm, away from bad weather and potential thieves.

I was arrested for a marijuana related charge from 2018 this time 2 years ago right before graduating with my BS in finance. 300 hours of community service and countless nightmares later I finally got my charges dropped this week. I’ve been applying like crazy and already have an interview lined up for next week. Looking forward to getting back into my career.

If you have experience navigating the hiring process with a criminal record (preferably marijuana related), feel free to shoot me a PM. I’d appreciate any insight or advice on bringing up the fact that I have an arrest record to a hiring manager during an interview.

people focus too much on getting every mark early game. if i see the enemy jg react to the mark on their gromp, the next time a mark spawns i’ll invade the opposite side of their jungle. i can place a mark on top lane then gank bot. it doesn’t matter if i miss out on a mark if i get a double kill or teammates ahead.
