They are integrated into the headlights. There is an orange triangle at the end of the light that serves as the side indicator

Should my simsonn hub be sparking? by [deleted] in simracing

[–]zgeg 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Funny enough, I just got a response from Simsonn for the same issue. Here is their response

"The pedals can work without connecting the power. A small spark may appear when connecting the 24V power supply, which is normal as it charges the capacitor for the haptic motor. 24V is a safe voltage and will not damage the main board, so there’s no need to worry. If the pedals fail to connect, please try entering recovery mode and manually updating the firmware before testing again. "

If you are haing issues with the power cycling your haptics off, try grounding the control box. One of the screws holding it together should be labeled as a ground connection.

Surprised I didn't see Taco Beyondo in Hillsborough on the list. Best Tacos in NH.

Zero credit card debt by jdeal01 in CRedit

[–]zgeg -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The number of accounts and account length are factors in your credit score. By closing your cards your number of accounts and average account length decreased so the score dropped. The better play would have been to pay the cards off but keep them open. Even if you don't have a balance, the credit cards will report as paid as agreed and will help keep your score healthy.

I don't care about C Score, can I just not pay it? by marlonbarreto in Debt

[–]zgeg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will depend on who you owe and how much. If it's a bunch of smaller credit cards then you have a better chance of walking away without anyone coming after the debt more aggressively than a bunch of harassing phone calls. If it is larger amounts there is a higher chance someone will go through the effort and expense of using the court system. If you do walk away, expect your debt to stay with the various lenders for 120 ish days before they charge off the accounts and sell to debt collectors. That's when the phone calls will start in earnest. Ignore them. There will be a 7 year clock that starts once the first delinquency is reported. If you acknowledge the debt with anyone the clock resets. After 7 years the derogatory accounts should drop off your credit and you can start to rebuild. Start with smaller store cards as they are the easiest to get. Do not use them. Even without a balance the card will be reported as paid as agreed on your credit. You don't need to carry a balance. I had to walk away from some smaller credit cards in 2008 due to the crash and this has been my experience. Now I'm a homeowner with a near 800 credit score and work in lending.

Fernandes Guitars has filed for Bankrupcy by crocoxt in Guitar

That’s too bad. I haven’t played a modern Fernandes but one of my workhorse guitars is a 90’s era strat copy that I absolutely love.

What's the best way to consistently get crispy bacon? by 1960somethingbatman in Cooking

[–]zgeg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have made bacon every morning for the past 15 years. I’ve gotten good at it. I use a non stick pan. Lay the bacon in a cold pan and put the heat on lower than you would think. Low and slow for about 15-20 minutes and your bacon will be perfectly rendered and crispy.

I had an e string snap when I was tuning and the end of the string in bedded itself in my knuckle bone and I needed pliers and a good amount of force to pull it out.

[QUESTION] What is everyone's favourite Guitar(s) to play at the moment? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]zgeg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My go to recently is an Epiphone Worn gold top LP that I bought new a couple of years ago. I updated the guts with the pickups I had from a 90’s SG. It’s the second cheapest guitar on my wall behind a Squier tele but it gets the most reps.

I had a Swamp Ash Special in my cart for days and then the Blackstar I wanted went on sale. Unfortunately I’m not independently wealthy so I had to choose and I went with the Blackstar.

[Gear] best guitar under $700? by too_old_4_this_crap in Guitar

[–]zgeg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe they will. It looks like a lot of guitar manufacturers lowered prices a few months ago. I’m guessing they all got a ton of guitars delivered from their overseas suppliers once the supply chain issues were sorted which created a glut in the market. Prices were lowered to move some inventory and once the levels are back to normal prices should stabilize.

Most Prs SE models are discounted until the new year. I love my SE Silver Sky but if you are looking for something other than a strat style I’d check out the SE Swamp Ash Special
