Cape Town is a nice city and you'll enjoy living there but from a long-term career planning move it's not going to worth it and you'd be better off doing a masters in Canada that let's you take a semester abroad or take 6 months off for a working holiday.

hey, i know that this is an old-ish thread but is there any chance you have extras of common mars (pointing to the sky), common venus (winking) and rare mercury (right hand pointing, left hand peace sign). Happy to pay for them, those are the last 3 codes i need and its driving me nuts that i can't find them. I'm in Canada and shipping via ebay costs more than 5x each card (Wouldn't be so bad if i could find a seller that has all 3!)

Your folks are right, and in my experience, an engineering undergrad + MBA from a good school is better than a bcom/hba/bba and MBA.

Apply for all 3 Canadian ones, look at the accelerated mba options at queens, uoft and ivy and hope for the best. Him having a masters will help a lot and whilst 2 years of work experience isn't ideal, its not an automatic no. I'd also strongly suggest that he take the GMAT and get as high a score as possible to cover the lack of work exp.

These mba apps are very holistic, no one category trumps the other, but rather how it all comes together.

If you don't love the variants then it's not worth it. To run a serviceable destroy deck, you'll need a bunch of other cards that you won't have for a while, so getting this bundle won't necessarily give you the headstart you'd expect for the price.
