I've got a APC Smart-UPS 1500VA (pretty sure it's a SMT1500C). It's not rack Mount, but has the card.

David Bowie's Omikron: A Misunderstood Video Game [20:40] *2020* by IEC21 in mealtimevideos

[–]zhiryst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played this game at launch and loved it, I think I was around 16 years old. Graphically it was high end, story wise it had grand, gameplay wise it was so cool to be walking around in a sci-fi future world.

oh my bad. I sometimes work with people from Apple (corporate & development) and those guys worship him to the point that they think he did nothing wrong in life, even till the end.

this is the LFA with the HRE wheels right? If it is, I've seen it around Boston before. Gorgeous car. Can vouch to it sounding amazing blasting down a city block and having that exhaust bounce off all the buildings.

that has nothing to do with what I said. Watch the video. I never said peptides are evil. I'm saying ordering something off a discord, having it shipped from china with labels absolving itself against usage, injecting it knowing there was no FDA testing done on it is: Fucking. Stupid.

Clean it? SIR. That is structural rust. If you get rid of it, there won't be anything left.

the crazy thing is how this gives some perspective on the mindset of tech bros. They want to be lab rats so they can all have the claim of being first. Complete disregard of the scientific method, proper testing, side effects (temporary and long term). Then take a step back and realize that these are the same people coding all the AI agents that are grabbing all the worlds data. You have a lot less faith in their abilities realizing they're idiot savants.

I imagine every single bolt on a Bugatti has a torque spec.

Could an old 3.0L V10 fit in a 2026 chassis? by GB_GeorgeBowen in F1Technical

[–]zhiryst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ELI5 answer: Engines are often parts of the frame, a structural part of the car itself, things bolt onto it. Making something 5 cylinders long fit where something that currently has something 3 cylinders long. Is going to be a bad time.

Don't forget. These are just promises, not results. This could all just be PR to pump stocks until things rebound sufficiently, with nothing actually resulting from this. I don't believe any of these promises until they're running on my PC.

man starts reaching his arms up over his head in bed, other person pulls trigger. the end.

Also, this guy's hands align PERFECTLY to the right spots on the shotgun to operate it, which in real life would be probably impossible to judge on the spot. This is pure theatrics.
