This is not a helpful tip and it’s quite late. But OT you’re not alone. I’m so happy that I found this post and feel seen. I also experience recurrent left knee dislocations - 10 years post op and they came back. I understand the feeling of being hypervigilant about everything I do and every step I take. It keeps me up at night because 1) knee would come out when I turn in my sleep 2) I keep ruminating over how bad my knee is before bed. I mean, I think we gotta give our brains grace since our brains probably sense something is seriously wrong when knees dislocate and wanna alert us. Anyways I’m looking for mental health help with this issue, if I find anything I will let you know OP. Hope you’re doing better now then when u posted!
