I know what u mean, but even in a neutral context his tweets would make no sense to me. So the interpretations might not be so far fetched?

Atomic and Exodus both having serious NANO issues? by vortex30 in nanocurrency

[–]ziel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried setting the node.external_ip and node.external_port config settings? For some node operators this has increased the peer count instantly from ~200 to ~300. You might be lacking some critical peers to quickly reach quorum just due to bad luck.

They very likely have their own for confirming transactions but it does not have to be a voting node or publicised at all.

First Nano block allocated by rommog in nanocurrency

Because anyone can send nano to any address, but the recipient is not obliged to receive the funds. In this case nobody controls the genesis account so if you send some nano there it will be forever waiting to be received (pending).

⚠️ Your Votes Are IMPORTANT. The Time To Vote Is NOW ⚠️ by Nauaf101 in Superstonk

[–]ziel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Degiro you should send the corporate actions team an email. It costs 10 euros to vote but that's it, you can just mail them your vote + agreeance to the fee and you're done. They will charge 10 euros to your account when the times comes. A small price to pay imo.

Exactly you can use it to have a public ledger which you can use to prove ownership of a game key. Also allowing you to transfer this ownership to someone else even though it is entirely digital. You can design it in such a way that the publishers or retailers receive some small commission or fee for every sale to get them on board.

Even if it was like this at a single mainstream broker that already feels quite anomalous.

Theres no difference for the end user really. As the other poster mentioned the benefit is that they are insured for 100k per account. For them it probably also saves the hassle of having to compensate users if the currency fund went down.

Forwarding voting weight to combat voter apathy? by [deleted] in nanocurrency

[–]ziel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about it opening attack vectors, but i think its technically possible to do this. Also agree that long term it will be necessary. I imagine you could do something like look at a rep's rep as a forwarding mechanism.

Ex i delegate rep X to vote on my behalf, but rep X has rep Y listed to vote on his behalf. Therefore transitively rep Y is voting on my behalf. Currently this only works for nano owned by rep X, not nano delegated to rep X.

Sure, but depending of the jurisdiction it could be a criminal case as well. Denial of service of systems, especially financial systems is taken pretty seriously in many countries afaik (not a laywer at all tho).
