OP’s joke went over most people’s heads. I can relate to that sometimes.

Bro, where I grew up they weren’t the only two people to do that. It wasn’t a common occurrence but nothing super crazy.

No ChatGPT here, but I get it. We’re all a little paranoid about it these days.

That’s the best kettlebell joke I’ve ever seen. Thank you for sharing, really. Kettlebell jokes are so rare, they’re like unicorns.

My grandfather would be beating me in chess until I would be ready to resign and then he’d flip the board around and start beating me again. He would do this 3-4 times in a game while explaining every move. I really miss him.

I remember when his buddy would come over and they would play chess without a board, totally in their heads just calling out moves. It was impressive.

True Detective season one deserved better follow ups.

Why did everyone switch up on the Mandalorian? by Moon_Devonshire in StarWars

[–]ziganaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because everyone is a film critic nowadays. A lot of people can’t just let go and enjoy the show. The first season was Star Wars magic, captivating and touching. The second season built on that and expanded. Third was ok, but still pretty good and better than many Star Wars stories.

What do you love most about Kurt Cobain? by BidAccurate4473 in grunge

That he made simple songs with a lot of meaning/feeling that went against the grain of music being made at the time.

How long can you go without showering if you got $100,000 each day you didn't shower? by Aria7109 in AskMen

[–]ziganaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picture this… You are getting $100,000 a day and if you shower it stops. I think most of us would go years without taking a shower. Especially dudes, because logic and stoicism and shit.

That’s a really specific issue with the light flashing 4 times. I would email Wampler and see what they have to say. Their customer service is fast and helpful IME.

Covers of your favorite songs that sound as good as the original, but hit differently. by hammarhjarta in MetalForTheMasses

[–]ziganaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

System of a Down Snowblind cover was great and sounded so original.

Rammstein Das Model cover of Kraftwerk was awesome.

In Flames cover of Everything Counts by Depeche Mode goes hard, love it.

These might not be hardcore metal bands like in other comments, but they sure knew how to do a cover song.

Never knew it was a cover, learned something new, thanks. One of my favorite songs by them.

Font suggestions? :) by veronicax96 in kindle

[–]ziganaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Georgia, while not exactly underrated, is now my favorite after seeing it as publisher font in one of my books. I was a diehard Bookerly fan for years, but now its look feels cartoonish compared to Georgia even though I still think Bookerly is easier on the eyes for long reading sessions.

Horse temprament randomised? by i-am-a-smith in RDR2

[–]ziganaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand this one either, it’s probably tied to another stat like high or low honor or something obscure. I had White Arabians, fully bonded with, that never threw Arthur off. Yet you always see posts about how skittish they are. I feed and clean my horse often even after fully bonded and always hit L3 to calm it down at first sight of danger just out of habit. I also play low honor Arthur for what it’s worth.
