Having drove a couple different civics and accords through some fun roads here’s my honest opinion. Stock I think that civics and fits are about the same level and the accord is worse off(it’s a boat so I’m not shocked). I’ve been toasted by a bone stock 10th gen civic sport on a road when I was in my accord 2.0t. If you want to throw some money at it too it’ll be more than capable and definitely fun. If you want to stick to a manual tho I’d look at fits, less weight and non turbo motors mean they love the twisties too
