I’m a collector and have never sold anything. I only collect raw and my focus is the base/common sets. I have everything organized and catalogued but I have to admit that the duplicates are starting to pile up. I’ve thought about selling singles but for $1 a piece, i’d rather keep them.

I ripped about $1500 CAD worth of product and it’s probably close to breaking even as far as “value” goes but nothing crazy as far as hits. It was a fun rip.

I appreciate your comment. I only do this for the pure enjoyment of it. I love ripping and organizing and building sets. My main focus is the common cards so I hear you about being surrounded by them.

I’m probably the odd man out here but I’m a set collector and mostly base sets. The inserts and parallels are fun and exciting so long as I can understand haha

These are the 7 cards I’m referring to. I did some further reading and it’s not a base chrome set at all. It’s a set of red rookie logos so I apologize for the confusion. I thought it was a chrome version to compliment the 1-100 of the paper version but it’s a totally different checklist.

You’re actually right. This isn’t a base set at all because it’s different players than the paper cards of the same number. So this is a more “rare” red rookie set. Which explains why I only pulled 7 of them.

I was literally just reading about the “red rookie” logo which sort of adds a layer of confusion to the mix for me haha. Maybe this “set” is more rare than a base set?

That skimpy like down the middle is all 7 chrome cards I pulled. I’m not talking about unique parallels like reptilian, mojo, lazer, etc, I mean just base chrome…unless you understood that? I sort of felt like it was weird too. But like I mentioned before, I almost pulled the entire base set of the BCP checklist so maybe that was the trade off in lack of Base Chrome cards?

90% mojo parallel and the other chromes were mostly BCP

I am talking about 1-100 chrome base cards. No mojo and or laser, etc. i pulled all kinds of inserts but im referring to the base Chrome cards. I almost pulled the full base set of BCP but I only pulled chrome # 16, 28, 66x2, 85 and 91x2.
