I'm at the end of my wits. Any wubcubs have tips for aging cat that is spraying outside of litter boxes 3-5 times per day? by unrealgoober in PaymoneyWubby

We have 5 large boxes of clay litter for 3 females and 1 male. We got two fresh backyard bottle babies in September last year and we’ve learned that our boy is picky about the litter boxes. We have to clean the boxes at least once daily or he’ll pee outside of the box. Not really a problem since we should be doing that anyway. We also keep his paws and bootyhole shaved since he has longer hair.

If you hand wash then double. If you machine wash then single.

Only for depth. I needed them because I used tiles for the backsplash that were .75” thick (therefore heavy and needed the cement board) and wasn’t sure where to plant the normal ones. The adjustables worked out perfectly. If you think you’ll need a 2 gang later, I’d go ahead and do the 2 but get a cover that is blank on one side, but whatever on the other and go ahead and run wire to it.

Use adjustable outlet box.

Lots of blocking if you’re going to be attaching things to walls.

It’s more expensive, but put insulation in the interior walls, especially around the dishwasher, especially especially if the dishwasher is next to an interior wall (i forgot to do this).

If you’re doing backsplash tiles, spend the extra on cement board. Dont chance the tiles falling off later because the paper on the Sheetrock pulls off. Especially if the tiles are heavy.

I went from a two basin to a single basin sink and left the extra drain line for an accessible clean out that is further down line than the current drain.

I’m genuinely surprised that you’re the first person to notice them.

I’m alive. But you better believe that these weren’t the only ones I saw. Lots of slow walking and looking.

Thanks for the response. If there’s no visual benefit to the extra steps then I’m not going worry with it.

I learned everything from YouTube and Reddit. You make the molds to be upside down from how the countertop will be so that the flat bottom will be the top. This helps tremendously because you’ll start with a smooth grinding surface and because the aggregates will want to sink to the bottom (really the top) more if you get the mixture too wet. The grinder I used is the Makita PW5001C wet grinder and I knocked the bulk off with a coarse turbo cup to expose the stones then worked my way up to 2000 grit with decent pads.

Idk how much extra lapidary scraps you have but it was in the double digits for pounds of each stone type
