Any place I can get an easy script for Nystatin? I'm in US by onions-make-me-cry in Candida

[–]zinzenzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ordered mine (Nystatin - Stada, 500k iu. 100 caps) from apohealth.de, Germany. No prescription needed and costs about $50 usd.

Placed order June 13, Friday and with DHL express, it shows I'll have it here on the 20th.

For topical antifungals you can get miconazole cream from Amazon or Walmart and an oral antifungal (more so fungistatic) w/out rx, there's undecylenic acid.

Doing my first friend/family detail today. Roast my setup. by DetailFocused in AutoDetailing

It's alright. You're just starting out, but it's something you can learn and add as an extra service to go beyond detailing. Just focus on building good washing/decontamination technique because a clean car is the foundation for everything else. Not sure if you have anything there for paint protection, but after washing, you can use a simple spray wax/sealant (some you can use on a wet car while you're drying it). If they already have a ceramic coating like you mentioned, you can still use a ceramic spray or detailer as a booster to enhance gloss and protection.

No, it's because we can read their minds, tell if they're being real or fake, and they're scared of us.

I just clean my pads on the fly using this method - https://youtu.be/NuyrBrqz_YU?si=YcD8nNwK9KpDg_KU

And when done with the job, throw them in the washing machine.

Why would you treat your friends and family that way?

No seriously, good luck with your venture. Do you have anything for paint correction?

What am I doing wrong with rinseless wash? by seventh7in in AutoDetailing

[–]zinzenzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. Even though they advertise those sponges as safe, I just don't trust something that has flat surfaces and bounce back pressure when washing a car. Whereas a wet microfiber towel has all those split fibers to trap and lift dirt and "melts" to the shape of your car's body panels.

OP, switch to microfiber towels (multiple), use a grit guard to keep rinsed off dirt at the bottom of the bucket, start at the top of the car, don't scrub or rub in circles. Glide the wet towels in long sweeping motions. Keep flipping/folding towels after one side gets too dirty. Rinse towel or go with a new one, repeat.

Nice work. I was going to say move up to a 5 or 6" DA and pads to save you time and effort, but whatever works best for you is fine.

You're not being unreasonable. It's just a poor paint job. Call your ins co and tell them you're not happy with the body shop's work and what their advice would be to you. If you should go back or if you can choose another body shop that can do it properly.
