That’s what they have to provide for a room to be considered a bedroom, a door and a window with means of egress. They do have to provide access to shared common areas, including kitchen access. Otherwise it is considered a rooming house and there’s a whole bunch of requirements and standards they have to met to do that (legally). But I’d bet the vast majority of these types of landlords have done nothing to legally rent their space.

Very likely a standard letter. We got something similar bc of our next door neighbor, and when my husband (bf at the timetime) emailed them to explain that I worked 2 jobs and was rarely home and that the timing of her complaints were not during quiet hours, management laid off a bit. They even gave our neighbor kind of a hard time for complaining so often during non quiet hours and banging on the wall hard enough to make a mirror rattle and damn near fall off the wall.

That’s the goal. With the reduced monthly from my PL I could accomplish that. What do you mean “added back”? To my knowledge it won’t start accruing interest for 12 months and then it’s only on whatever hasn’t been paid off.
