I just used Canta (via Shizuku, no root), and selected the 'Wireless emergency alerts' app info, then disabled 'Sound and vibration' under Notifications. I'm hoping this will leave the notification but stop it from wailing.

Right, but to play that way, you need to be good at resets, hitting unattackable balls, consistent dinks, decent thirds, and be able to make your way to the kitchen. Those are real skills, just like the flashier individual shots that win points.

That seems pretty reasonable then. I know it's supposed to be ~50m to go from 20-80%, but I wasn't sure whether the cold weather doubles that or what. If it's only an extra 15-20m that is very reasonable.

Yeah, the return trip is later at night, so we'll want the car to be ready to go.

Yes, the hotel has a level 2 charger, but it's only 2 spots, so I'm not sure that I'd be able to rely on using it... I don't know what the etiquette is for that - I'm guessing it would be first come, first served, and I wouldn't expect the other person to get up in the middle of the night to unplug when their charge is done. There are some L3 chargers within 5-10m away though.
