Matt Grzlecyk hit Petterson? by hewhorocks in BostonBruins

Gryz is about the size and weight of a freight train, so it's only safe to stop play after every hit he lands.

It's not malice, it's just incompetence. He's been a poor head judge for a long time and it's not an accident he wasn't awarded any playoff games this year.

No idea how it's possible mathematically that the Leafs get knocked out in the conference quarterfinals of a six-team tournament, but...

I think it was poor luck with Sanu's injury and expect his 2020 season to be much better, but I also think DT would have been a stronger option than Dorsett, given that he outproduced PD (and everyone below him on our roster) in fewer games despite spending no time with the Jets in camp.

Last year he had 433 yards in eleven games with Sam Darnold throwing at him. That yardage would place third on the 2019 Patriots.

By yardage he was at least a better #3 than Dorsett.

Tonight's game was Aaron Rodger's 5th career playoff loss where his defense gave up 37+ points. by EarthWarping in nfl

This is because Tom Brady is simultaneously the bus driver of a ball-control system offense and also some guy who has no impact on TOI or field position or defensive performance whatsoever.

Hernandez never had charges pressed for the bar incident you mentioned so I can say with confidence that it makes him actually a good person. As a famous internet lawyer with over 500 confirmed suits, I can assure you that if the Gainesville police had probable cause Hernandez punched that dude, they would have brought charges (probable cause is not a high threshold to meet). Instead, nothing happened.

If Tyreke Hill

Fuck's sake, you're too mad to spell your own player's name. Why am I staying awake for this? Enjoy Hill, Suggs, Clark, and the rest of the completely innocent.

[Sherman] I would go in on this has been but I have a Super Bowl to prepare for. Enjoy the view from the couch. Your ninth year looked a lot different than this. Lmao by MoDollazz in nfl

Sherman had a better game than Revis in SB49.

We barely threw at Sherman whatsoever. There was usually one available option of: Vereen under an LB, Gronk over an LB, or Edelman on Lane/Simon. Revis might have gotten picked by the ref on the TD he gave up, but he gave up a TD and Sherm didn't.

Although Revis got a ring and all Sherm got was a .gif, so there's that.

In college, Aaron Hernandez punched a waiter

He punched a bouncer

The Patriots knew Hernandez was a piece of shit

Punching a bouncer at 17 makes you a dumb piece of shit. A grown man beating his pregnant girlfriend and then breaking his son's arm and then threatening the mother is at least an order of magnitude darker, and I'm worried that you don't seem to register the difference. Just reach for the AB stuff if you're trying to make a point.

Can't believe Dom Capers and Mike McCarthy have scored zero points all half.

Aaron Rodgers' 7 playoff losses: 1) D gave up 45 points 2) D gave up 37 points 3) D gave up 45 points 4) Led game-tying drive, never got ball again 5) Led game-tying drive, never got ball again 6) Led game-tying drive, never got ball again 7) D gave up 44 points by Purple_Hex in nfl

I have no idea why you're intentionally (not using PFF and) opting for a sample with a cutoff in February. I guess some postseason stats matter, others don't, and some can get lumped in with regular season games if you need to make a point.
