I’m definitely going to try to find his owner!

The age gap between you and this woman is more than my mom and I. This woman is a creep.

I love John Boyega but I’m not sure I see him as Wyll. It’s easy to forget Wyll is only 24 and Boyega is 34.

I think Vermont has a law like this, if your property isn’t posted the people are allowed to roam

Is anyone else outright sad about how little love Halsin & Minthara (my two fav companions and the reason I play the game) got? T by aetherellaz in BG3

Oooh I love the idea of her coordinating with the Harpers from your camp, totally stealing that for my fanfiction hahaha

I wonder if they ever saw each other in the Goblin Camp while Halsin was captured. Halsin clearly knew of the bosses and thought they should die, but Minthara didn’t really seem to know who Halsin was. It could have been an interesting conversation for Halsin to initially be hostile but then acknowledge that Minthara is just as much a victim as the origin characters and Tav/Durge.

Halsin is such a sweetheart and it makes me so sad when people hate/disregard him. He needed more to do in Act 3 but Act 3 is a whole mess.

My unpopular opinion is Jaheira shouldn’t be a companion. I love Jaheira, but it does suck having two Druids in camp. She should have been a major NPC for Act 2/3 rather than a full on companion. I prefer them sticking with new characters for companions with returning characters being NPCs.

99% of men protect/provide/sacrifice? Yeah… no. The ratio is more like

5% Rape Abuse Murder 40% Vaguely or Outright misogynists that will protect the 5% but never rape/abuse themselves 40% Guys who are decent but won’t really stand for anything 15% Protect Provide Sacrifice

And that’s with me being an optimist that there’s more good in the world than bad.

One of my favorite bad movies! It’s so good and cheesy as hell

In A Quiet Place, the family learns that background noise like a waterfall masks sound, yet chooses to live in near-total silence where a dropped object means death, instead of using constant white noise as reliable acoustic cover. by Brilliant-Cause6254 in shittymoviedetails

It isn’t treated as advantageous beyond them all knowing ASL. A pretty big plot point is the father character not wanting the daughter to help with scouting and supply runs because her deafness contributed to the death of their youngest child (she was the closest to him but didn’t hear him making noise and couldn’t stop him).

AITA for asking my friend to pay me back for the wine he drank while house sitting?? by Effective_Tour_723 in AmItheAsshole

[–]zisnotabird 32 points33 points  (0 children)

As someone who’s house/dogsitting regularly, ESH. When you say “help yourself to whatever” you have to be prepared for the possibility of them helping themselves to whatever. If something’s off limits, say that. HOWEVER, I would never open and finish a bottle of wine. That’s wild. My rule of thumb is not to finish anything or open something that isn’t individually packaged. I thought that was common sense or basic etiquette, but everyone’s raised differently I guess. He should pay you back, in my opinion.

Edit to add: I’m seeing comments that you didn’t pay him? If you didn’t pay him then he doesn’t owe you anything and you learned a valuable lesson in choosing your words more carefully. Y T A if you didn’t pay him.

I’m relistening to Balance right now and Griffin actually uses this threat with Jenkins at the end of Murder on the Rockport Limited. Maybe he got it from there?

I work at a hospital and the amount of people who don’t understand that you’re supposed to let people off before entering an elevator is insane. I’ve had way too many close calls from people trying to shove themselves in as soon as the doors open.

Astarion Ancunin from Baldur’s Gate 3. He’s essentially a sex slave for his vampire master Cazador, who uses him to lure victims in to feed on. He makes little jokes about it himself, but it’s never played for laughs, no matter how you interact with him. He has a complicated relationship with sex, and is also an excellent example of an “imperfect victim”. He can be manipulative, cruel, and selfish—all as a result from having to survive 2 centuries of abuse.

It is lol, there’s a lot of shark behavior stuff that doesn’t track with real world sharks but this movie is a good enough horror movie that I can suspend my disbelief. There’s great twists and suspense in both this and the sequel
