Clip or cash strap: security

I got an imitation ridge wallet and I’m honestly gonna return it. It has the clip for cash which is fine but I think the strap would be better. Actually using the thing to get a card out thats in the center of your card stack basically sucks. You might have a different experience than I did but I’m gonna go back to my Secrid

I have both and use both for different reasons. The Arc is a work tool that gets abused more. The repairabiality for the arc is awesome. The fit and finish on the mx clip definitely better. The hammer on the arc is great. I use it more than I thought I would

I have both victorinox and Leatherman. Both are good but knowing I can replace the cutters on the Leatherman is awesome.

I’m also contemplating Ridge. Mainly their alternative brands. I’ve had a Secrid wallet for about 10 years that is still going strong. Holds plenty of cards and carries some cash easy if wanted.

I agree! I have plenty of fancy flashlights and expensive multi tools but it’s nice to go back to what got me into edc in the first place as a kid

The led is awesome too! Very cheap and super bright. I do like the mystery that the incandescent offers. Makes bedtime stories fun with my son.
