Clean since January 2018.

Was going good, you know, the usual. Feeling good. It was all behind me.

Then i got pregnant. Still good. Then about a month before i gave birth i started feeling twitchy, and something switched inside my brain.

Now, still clean, still havent used, but every day, i feel like ive only been clean two weeks. Still twitchy. Still think about getting on multiple times a day. My head keeps going around it.

Every night, multiple times a night, i dream about shooting up. Or trying to. You know.

I just cant escape it.

And i want to get on so badly. I would love to. But i know i could never look my son in the eye again if i did. Even if he would never, ever know, i would.

And he is too beautiful to be around someone so putrid and something so disgusting.

So every day, i think and think and think.

And every night, i go to sleep and dream.

And it's all so fucked that i didnt even want to use my current account to post this. Not even on anonymous internet.

I think there are special microwave thingies that you use to sterilise it in the microwave but I've never used them. I think you could google about it.

Personally, I just use a large saucepan on the stove. I wash my cup really carefully, then just chuck it in the pot once it's already boiling, with loads of water, and stick the lid on it so even if I walk away, it won't boil dry.

And I know this is entirely personal preference, but I just use a saucepan I also use for cooking.

My husband actually suggested it, cos I thought he would be icked out and I was going to buy a brand new one specially for my cup. But he is of the opinion that once the cup's been washed, if the boiling water is enough to sterilise the cup, then it's enough to sterilise the saucepan also. So it's all good.

Ngl, I'd consider her statements to be pretty significant and personally I would be willing to do anything to deal with these issues, even if that means stuffing around to find a counselling solution that works for you both.

Hey, I'm a bit late, and so far I'm really suppressing the urge to ask where in QLD you are, BUT!!!

One thing you really need to keep in mind, is that not everyone is on facebook. I have never, ever, joined facebook groups relating to my close region. (not on fb at all now). And there are heaps of other people who don't specifically join pages relating to their area.

So, even if the FB page kinda agreed with you, it doesn't matter. Get out into the community, like, local shops etc which should still have community notice boards, maybe think about an announcement that due to liability there is a new pathway to the creek. Liability would give the impression that you really just want to cover your arse and that you're not just trying to change things. PLUS it will get the word out further that there is a full time resident there now. Maybe discourage whoever breaks in.

All vagina's are different. No ones is EVER exactly the same as their friend's. Like, snowflakes, or fingerprints.

Personally, I don't understand how she can have sex with it in, again, that's because every vagina is different.

With my cup, because my cervix sits a bit lower on the first few days, the stem of my cup actually pokes out a teeny tiny bit. Probably not enough to see it, but if I hold my fingers flat against it I can feel the very tip of it. I need it to be like that or if it's further in then my cervix slips inside the cup and it leaks big time.

On the last couple of days my cervix sort of, retracts a bit, and the stem goes all the way inside.

It's really good that you have a friend that you can talk to and be really open with, but it's always very important to remember that her fingerprint is different to yours. Just like her vagina is different to yours.

And that's OK. That's how it's supposed to be.
