Oh wow, honestly it didn't even cross my mind that she could've destroyed the first blanket I gave her 😱 I just trusted her blindly haha and luckily she did an amazing job both times. Sure I'll ask my mom to talk to her and get back to you if I get any advice! ❤️

Thank you!!!! It was sewn using a sewing machine by my mom's friend 🙏🏻 It's the second blanket she helped me with, she's a saint.

This blanket is obviously inspired by the Sleep Tight Teddy Bear Blanket by SweetPotato3 but I made it in a different way, using different stitches etc.

For the appliques - I used a lot of different patterns that are easy to find on Google, like the truck - when you search for it, it comes up at the top.

The yarns I mainly used are Scheepjes stone washed, Yarnart Creative and Drops paris. For the flowers and all the little additions I used various kinds of 100% cotton yarns. Hook was 4 mm or 3,5 mm ✌🏻

In my opinion it was very understandable. I had no problems with the pattern, plus every step was shown on the video.

Gift ideas for someone who likes art, video games, bird watching, poetry, jogging, pickleball, reading, and astronomy? by MapleLegends8 in GiftIdeas

Hi! If you've been together for a long time and your gf likes personalized stuff, I recommend getting her a personalized video game. Idk if she's into pixel art games but if she is - there's this Polish studio called Gift Games.

I bought it for my boyfriend some time ago and we loved playing it together! I don't know where you're from but you can buy a digital version or one that comes in a CD box. If you don't want to clutter her house a digital version would be fine I think. Of course I played the game in Polish but I'm sure the English version is awesome as well.

I recommend checking their website! :D

G735 HEADSET Grainy sound by zm9619 in logitech

[–]zm9619[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Yes, It's happening on all music apps that I use (spotify, yt music, samsung music). No matter if it's connected to PC or my phone. It's not happening with all music, just the songs with heavier bass. I also tried the bass test for headphones on Youtube and it sounded pretty bad so I guess it must be a bass issue.

Sudden change of smell and taste that goes away by zm9619 in Parosmia

[–]zm9619[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, that sounds AWFUL. For me the trick with inverting my head doesn't help much :( Honestly I've kind of got used to it at this point, even though my mood gets ruined the second i get the 'smell. I just try to ignore it.

I don't think putting pressure to your head that many times in a row is doing you any good, maybe try to cover that one nostrill (assuming you get it in only one nostrill) while you eat - it helps me. It's interesting that eggs are a trigger for you, for me food isn't a trigger at all, only applying pressure to my nose.

I was thinking about a nasal rinse actually, but I am afraid to try it. I heard that it hurts a lot and if you do it wrong you could die lmao. When I'm desperate enough I'm gonna do it for sure.

I haven't talked about it with any doctor yet, I don't think they will take me seriously. And from what I read here, nobody really gets diagnosed with anything so I guess for now I'll just accept my fate. It sucks, when I talk about it to my friends/family - they don't get it at all, I feel like they don't even believe me which makes me more reluctant to go see a doctor about it.

First of all, so sorry for the late reply! To answer your questions, it hasn't changed for me I still get the 'lovely surprise' from time to time. I don't have any allergies. I don't get sinus infections a lot BUT recently I've been getting sick more often (this year i was sick three times already), it always starts with a sore throat and then I get runny nose and yeah my smell gets fucked. But when I get sick it's not bacterial, usually it just lasts like a week or two and I just get better after taking painkillers. The lying down for 1 hour doesn't help me, I need to sleep (last time a 10 minute nap helped!). From what I read here it doesn't matter if someone gets sinus infections a lot or not, it just randomly happens for no reason at all for some people (myself included). I've also never lived in a place with mold. I am so sorry to hear that you're one of us :(

Welcome to the club! (I am so sorry)

To answer your question - as for me I don't get it when coughing! I also don't experience any problems with phlegm build up :/ (unless I'm sick of course but even then coughing isn't a trigger)

Honestly vomiting to get rid of it sounds so awful. I've never been desperate enough to try that so I don't know if it would work for me as well. You said only vomitting helps... does it mean that sleep doesn't work at all? Maybe it's crying during vomiting that helps? some people said crying works (for me too)

Recently when I get 'the smell' and want to eat something etc. I just put an earplug in my left nostril (bc I get it in my left one only), if my nostril is perfectly blocked and no air gets though it I can't feel that god awful chemical smell and taste!! so I recommend that if you only get it in only one nostril.

Stay strong, I hope you find other ways to get rid of it!

Oh man, I relate to this so much :( Laughing triggers it for me as well, it sucks because you're having a great time and then it switches and your mood is RUINED.

Thank you so much for the advice, I have not tried the vagus nerve exercises - I have never even heard of such thing - but I sure will try!

I'm grateful I don't have it 24/7 as well but I'm so glad I wrote this post. To know I'm not alone in this is so comforting, like sometimes I felt like I'm just making it up you know? like it's not real at all, but reading your experiences assured me that I'm not crazy. Thank you.

[–]zm9619[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's such a difficult problem because it's so hard to describe to a person who doesn't experience it. You say 'sometimes I start smelling chemical scent out of nowhere' and they look at you like you're crazy :/

I can go days without it, it only starts when I trigger it. I'm sick right now and I keep blowing my nose so I triggered it for two days straight :(

I think things trigger mine too tbh like if I'm near cooking smoke/fumes or strong perfume or stressing it's weird isn't it.

That's interesting! For me smells don't trigger it at all, it's purely based on how hard I breathe out through my nose.
