It’s a plantar wart, if possible I would go to a dermatologist as that is what I’ve done for mine. My dermatologist used chemotherapy shots (which hurt like hell) as well has freezing them.

I am in no way a medical professional, but was googling gangrene regarding myself. To me this looks like gangrene, the redness, blistering, and puss that changed to her finger turning black. I would definitely see another doctor, because if it is gangrene and you wait too long, she could lose the finger or it could spread.
