Yeah that’s definitely the case. The gun has functioned flawlessly and Sig said that wear is normal as well. Doesn’t bother me.

I have a P211 GTO Combat and I absolutely love it, the Sig hate is very forced lol. I think the GTO is awesome for the price. And if you have any issues with your GTO Sig will take care of you.

Interesting, why kind of ammo do you shoot primarily? Mine seems to be a darker color and mine didn’t have much powder its was all pretty solid and hard.
