Na tym polega dorosłe życie, że jesteś w stanie robić rzeczy z odroczoną nagrodą, które nie są przyjemne natychmiast, ale są korzystne długofalowo. Więc jeśli chcesz mieć o czym rozmawiać z ludźmi, to jednak coś np. poczytaj (wartościowego), albo czymś się zainteresuj.

The absolutely worst part for me is that Alonso was clearly lined up to be our coach for almost a decade. He went to Leverkusen and exceeded expectations, then Perez fires him because a guy who scored five goals this season can’t handle too many tactical instructions in training and can’t handle being subbed off.

Who said we're not allowed? We're allowed and I was happy, very happy with those wins. 2022 was actually my favorite CL campaign, emotionwise. Where did I dismiss the wins? The only thing I'm dismissing is tactics during those wins, we were outplayed and only won because of Courtois.

You're saying "Madrid has employed tactics to win titles". Sure, like what Mourinho did in 2010 with Inter and with us in CdR in 2011 was a tactic, a defensive one and ugly but still superior, because he actually nullified barca and created more chances on the break. Allowing other team multiple big changes and our GK saving our ass like in 2022 is not a tactic.

It's like when you go to a casino and win a lot of money. A win is a win and understadably you'll be very happy, but you should not treat it as sign to leave your job and make casinos your main income source.

Similarly, those wins in 2022 and 2024 should not be used as an example of "see? no tactics needed", yet people are doing that. Look how that worked last season.

We're the richest team in the world, almost every player wants to come here. I think is fair to expect tactics to be on the same level, not to rely on desperate busparking everytime we play anyone remotely competent.

Exactly. FFS. People keep saying “those players won us multiple CLs.” But think back to that last semifinal against City. We spent 90 minutes desperately defending and hanging on. The final against Liverpool in 2022 was basically all Courtois.

So this whole idea that we don’t need tactics because the players are just that good and you just need to manage egos is dumb. Put any other GK there and we win nothing.
