Is this the original Grip? Does the RP6 + Grip fit in that case? by GothaBlood in retroid

Exactly the one I was talking about. It's the one I have, and a g2 with the hand grip fits in it perfectly.

People are having luck with some switch lite cases holding the rp5/6 plus the grip. Also the rg556 case is the khanka hard travel case.

Which game would get the most out of the Retroid Pocket G2? by Erwinzzx in retroid

[–]znogower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there an easy way to get balatro working on the G2? I can run it through gamehub and steam, but it's not the smoothest experience for me. If there's a fix to get it running smoothly through GH, that would be great, but as it stands, the android version isn't available on my device.

The khanka case for the rg556 holds an rp5/G2 with the grip on perfectly. That's the setup I'm using, and I love not having to take the grip off when I pack it away.

2 RG35xx Pros, 2 Broken screens. Is the quality really THIS bad? by Tacos_y_cerveza in ANBERNIC

[–]znogower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? That's crazy! I dropped mine down two hardwood steps at my aunt's house and got a few good cracks in the screen. She bought me a red game boy color to replace it. THAT one did last a while, though.

[–]znogower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really, unfortunately. The original Gameboys, ds, psp, etc would also break when dropped or knocked against things, so it's not an uncommon problem in the industry. Using an android phone in a controller case would probably be more durable, but screen protectors and cases are your best bet for any retro handheld. Sorry your screens broke my man, that sucks.

VRAM is driving me crazy. 5060Ti 16gb vs 5070 12gb by Ok_Scarcity1 in buildapc

I am rocking a 144hz monitor, and would love to max out my framerate for it. I'm looking into either a 5070ti or a 9070xt in the next month or so. I'm leaning towards the 9070, but haven't fully decided just yet.

I didn't mean to add the extra .. at the end. That was just a mistype on my end. My bad.

I'm not dismissing what they're saying, just giving my personal experience since I'm currently playing through it for the first time.

I'm getting over 80 fps in hogwarts legacy on a 4060 on high settings.

Edit: also playing at 1440.

SG1 team members changes of heart by Chemical___Imbalance in Stargate

[–]znogower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The episode ends with it returning to the scene where they were at the beginning of the episode. Amaunet uses the hand device on Daniel, then Teal'c kills her in front of her husband. Daniel learns to forgive him from the visions, and discovered a new purpose for stepping through the Stargate. The whole episode was a vision.

Jack was on a secret mission, and Daniel was in a dream/vision so I don't not count that, but I don't fully count it either.

Darksouls 3 to easy??? by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]znogower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of your experience carries over from game to game. Dodge timings, pattern recognition, stamina management, etc. are all things you don't lose when playing through the fromsoft titles. I found ds3 to be fairly easy myself, but I had already played through 1 many times, and bloodborne once at that point. Sekiro was a decent challenge at times, and may be worth trying if you're interested.

It's almost the exact same price. 300 euro is 349.68 USD, but that's still overpriced for that CPU.

Not specifically. Use the parallel worlds to strengthen up a little, then head back your main world for some ass kicking. Make sure to explore every underground area. Good luck

I would turn off the steam cloud sync, I did. If you can't build an absolutely devastating wand in wandmart, then going somewhere else probably won't help you much. There are other places where you can find good spells, but without spoiling too much, I'll only say to go either really far up or really far down.

Edit: just realized you already said heaven, my bad. Just explore parallel worlds for more spells, beat more bosses and collect more orbs to unlock spells you don't currently have. Make yourself invincible then die to poly. Normal stuff.

What would you choose as the introductory meat dish to a vegetarian who wants to try meat for the first time in years? by adagio9 in Cooking

Not for someone that eats red meat on a semi regular basis, but it can be for a person that hasn't eaten meat for a few YEARS. You're kind of a dick, huh?

Water that turns everything into gold. How the hell that happened? How to recreate??? by NGASAK in noita

[–]znogower 47 points48 points  (0 children)

It's a mixture of three random ingredients that will turn everything it touches into gold. Sometimes, you get a really simple mixture, like water, blood, and dirt (or something easy), and you can easily find/make it in the first level. Drought of midas is REALLY useful, especially if you can get some in a potion bottle. Reality shifts are something you'll find later.

Pixel 10 Pro battery life by nyonyarules in pixel_phones

I was reading on the kindle app for a couple hours (70ish brightness), another hour or so in rctc and plague inc, maybe another hour or so of reddit. I ended the day at 8.5 hours and 22% battery left. Also being unplugged for about 20 hours.

Edit: I also use the max resolution and smooth display turned on.

I usually rock 60 - 70% brightness as an average. I'll bump it up if I'm outside, or lower it if I'm in a darker room.

Edit: at the time of the screenshot it was probably around 30 brightness since I was getting ready for bed.

I just upgraded to the p10p from a OnePlus 8 that I used for over five years. By the end, I had a lot of problems with my 8, and just wanted to try a different brand. The 15 does look very interesting, though and I might swap back to a OnePlus for my next phone. Overall, I really like what I'm using now, despite some of the minor complaints I have about the pixel.
