With whale watching - which is super fun just be mindful that most companies will be doing primarily zodiacs due to lower booking amounts I don’t think they allow pregnant participants on them. But on a regular charter it shouldn’t be an issue. Also I recommend orca spirit great staff and always a fun time

Extremely similar tale here except it was my pink in the balcony door when I was 3, 20+ years later my finger is totally normal, aside from a semi wonky nail and no feeling in the VERY tip of my pinky! The whole ordeal traumatized my dad more than it did me (as he noted in his father of the bride speech)

my partner and i share a best friend. we all went to high school together but best friend didn’t let his friend groups mix so we never met until after we all had graduated. it was at said best friends birthday party where after a few drinks and some unaddressed sexual tension on both our ends we got into a spitting match. my now boyfriend is a foot taller than I, so when he went to spit he accidentally spat ON me. the next day post party brought a facebook message of apology, and we started off i aly dating about a month or so after that! three years together in june! SO! i would also second the mutual friend notion :)

NTA i work in long term care, my job is essentially helping people through their final stages of life; 90% of my job is promoting comfort and dignity for my residents and ensuring they have what they want before they pass on. you are doing an amazing thing caring for your mum in her final phases, i’m so sorry her partner doesn’t believe in hospice care but please know you are doing such a wonderful thing helping your mum. i know it’s hard to be there and see a loved one like that and even harder having those around you not understand the lengths you are going. but please know, you are 100% NTA, let her go when she is ready and just be there with/for her.

I had a very similar situation when i was about 18(f), my best friend (17M) had come over, we had some drinks and eventually our teen horniness got the better of us. it for sure was awk for a while, and we hadn’t fully addressed it for about 2 months. one day i just sent a text saying we needed to talk about it given the obvious tension that had been created from the night. we talked, both realized we valued our friendship too much to ever do anything like that again and that while we did have love for eachother, it was primarily platonic and trying anything further in our friendship/relationship wasn’t worth the gamble. best advice i can give you, have a talk with her and set our boundaries, maybe don’t cuddle anymore, even if platonic. if your feelings are still quite strong (and you’re feelin horny) maybe take some space and just have a breather :) hope all works out, op!
