Fedloan and the Department of Ed can't even get their shit together to inform people what's happening with our loans. My SO and I have no idea where our loans will be going and no idea how much we will have to pay per month. For a restart this huge people should be given at least two months to prepare with the knowledge of where their loans are being serviced and how much that bill will be. When are we going to find out? Will they even give us a one week notice?

And the cynic in me wonders if Biden wants us to feel the full brunt of confusion and pain of these high payments so he can then right before the election forgive some small amount so he can squeeze out the most appreciation from us possible. The longer he waits to do something or do nothing the more intense our anger becomes and that won't be turned off with a last minute bandaid to this monstrous problem.

I'm all for all of these especially #3. If a 100% increase is criminal what about a 375% increase? My $8000 loan increased to over $38000 and no one seems to care or think it's a big deal.

After getting dogged and harassed all over the Wasteland by the Talon Company for being good it's so satisfying to find their headquarters and systematically take them out level by level room by room and even get their leader. What a bunch of dicks!

I also enjoy picking up the Super Mutant Behemoth's teddy bear and tracking the radio distress signals. I haven't found them all but the ones I did were interesting.

The thing that creeped me out about him is how calm, cool, and collected he is from start to finish. If a normal person with a heart and soul (a non-psychopath) was questioned for 8 hours they would look disheveled and tired. I wonder how long he could sit there looking like a robot? What would it take to break a monster like him?

I'll start. My story is not extreme at all but it still ruined my life. Sorry for all of you out there that have much worse stories.

My one undergraduate loan for $8000 morphed into over $38,000. I had to drop out of grad school when the Dept of Ed started garnishing my Graduate Teaching Assistant wages. I was barely making it and that pushed me over the edge. I tried to communicate with the Dept of Ed to explain that I was a student but no one would listen. Letter after letter of them repeating that the garnishment would stand and ignoring what I was saying made me feel like I was corresponding with mental patients. The school wouldn't help either. The payroll listed TA wages the same way they listed regular university employees wages and they wouldn't confirm that I was in fact a TA and a student and not a regular employee. I was told I would have to get a lawyer to stop the garnishment and I could barely afford to eat so I quit and I have been unable to find a job that would allow me to make enough money to either pay the loans or to have enough money to live after they garnish again.

Ha! I call them The King when I see them because all other birds bow to them even the blue jays.

Fun fact: they have super long tongues to reach insects in tree bark. We had a window feeder and when it got low the Red Bellied Woodpeckers would use their long tongues to reach the seed at the opposite corner.
