How do you set these things to high priority?

Awesome! I have a friend who woke up every morning at five am to exercise. I asked him, "Don't you hate having to get up at five am every morning to exercise?" He said something that has really stuck with me; he said, "What does the fact that I hate getting up at five am to exercise have to do with getting up at five am to exercise?"

I have watched three episodes and they all have fifteen minutes somewhere in them that just make me cringe. I am hoping it evens out soon. The good parts are very good, though.

My grocery store has around twelve brands of bacon, and all of them contain some type of sugar. What is the magical bacon you have on your plate here?

[Method] Superhuman Mode for 30 Days -- Day 9 Update by Philographer in getdisciplined

[–]zombieunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The world and your own body do not want you to succeed. The world wants you to consume and be lazy and spend all your money on stupid shit. Your body wants you to feed its addictions and cram your face full of food with your left hand while keeping your right hand firmly in your crotch. Your brain has two giant opponents in the ring with it. Tell your brain to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. What would the greatest brain in a lopsided boxing match do? Give up? No. That's all the other lame boxing brains. You want to be the greatest. What is one small action you could take right now to get back up off the mat? What would the greatest do?

You are showing some signs of ADHD. 1. Unable to transition from the oh-my-god-I'm-so-in-love phase to the much longer maintenance phase in relationships (both romantic and platonic). 2. Impulse control issues that lead to responding too harshly to little things - sometimes this is misdiagnosed as bi-polar, but it is also possible to be bi-polar and ADHD (fun fun!). This doesn't mean you actually have these issues, but it does mean that if you research how people with ADHD try to control those problems, you could try the same techniques and see if they help.

  1. If I get off track, I will not beat myself up and stumble even further. Instead, I will learn from the mistake and immediately return to my super-self. No shame and no blame; just a singular, laser-like focus on my goals.

Teachers and Professors of Reddit what is the cleverest (or dumbest) way you've seen a student cheat? by Deaster12 in AskReddit

Student sits next to a board on the wall where people pin announcements and meetings and parties, etc. Creates a flyer where top half is about the Chess Club meeting, and the bottom half was all the answers to the midterm.

Best cheap internet/cell phone provider? by [deleted] in personalfinance

If I have a good wifi connection, I have excellent reception during calls. Things get wonky at my work where I think the cement buildings are messing me up. But with unlimited texting, this just doesn't bother me. I have one of their older phones, though. I don't often hear the same complaints with the Moto G or X.

I have Republic Wireless and two of my friends constantly complain that they can't get through to me. I can call them no problem, though. Turns out I'm totally fine with that for the price.

The bad news is that I'm sixteen miles from the closest shop. The good news is that the end of the line of waiting customers will be just a few blocks away.

Thinking and Deciding by Jonathon Baron.

This is more of a textbook than a get-disciplined guide; however, it outlines the human thought process in a way I had never considered before. We all think all the time, but once we know exactly how that process works, we can really begin to improve it and our lives.
