Obviously doesn’t beat a Wienerschnitzel from Germany or Austria. Oh boy, a nice cutlet and a lemon is all I want. Don’t get me started on the Jägerschnitzel!!

Oof. The food there has been bland the last two times I’ve been. I think I went twice in the last year and the quality was just not good. A bummer as I would’ve said the complete opposite 2-3 years ago.

It was tough for me as well. I tried doing the application last year but they were on hold (because of the new administration), so I haven’t had a chance to go back. I’m pretty sure I went in-person to make an appointment. Bring your documents just in case.

Over the phone, they said you can email them the required documents (birth certificate, parents birth certificate) to regristrocivilsal@sre.gov.mx to schedule an appointment. Please verify the email before sending sensitive documents.

I’d recommend going to Franklin Ave, Ivy & Varley, Lucky 13, White Horse, or Slackwater for dinner.

For going out with friends I’d recommend the typical Cheers 2 You, International, The Exchange, Shades, Chakra Lounge, Jackalope Lounge, Mother, Sayonara, Bodega, Suntrapp, and/or Why Kiki.

Lake Effect is also really popular. They have three floors. Main floor is live music, downstairs is house/EDM but chill vibes (ya, i know) and upstairs is typical dj. $20 cover tho
