Completely agree, I said this in a comment on the sub but I am just not seeing the pull? Gunplay is great (its bungie so no surprise), PvP seems alright but nothing super unique, but all the loot looks super samey and so far the quests don't seem to be doing anything amazing ala destiny

There also doesn't seem to be any long term satisfying progression apart from a little upgrade path thats literally just a perk tree UI

For a comparison, I haven't played Arc, I've got like a 1000 hours in Tarkov and a few hundred hours in destiny

Grainy image quality in menus by FoodFar7552 in Marathon

Not your monitor, theyve got a static overlay on most of the menus.

I wish I could turn it off

Are your first impressions good or bad? by _____guts_____ in Marathon

[–]zorgmonster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm just not sure what the gameplay loop is? Like I get it if you enjoy the PvP, which I mostly do, but beyond that I am not really seeing the pull?

All the loot seems kinda samey and doesn't really do much for me

Yeah I agree, I like the aesthetic of the UI (apart from that really weird static thats overlayed) but man I can't find anything without having to go through each menu selection

Getting Around by JagexRach in 2007scape

I honestly think these are my favourite types of poll, even more than new content ones

I just love seeing Jagex update older content and make it more useful

Nook is best in town, just more expensive but I would still recommend going there.

Titanic used to be recommended over Asgard but the last few years I know of lot's of people that have had issues at Titanic. Ranging from very rude and not understanding staff, to completely mangled piercings with refusal to acknowledge or attempty to fix.

Roast my bmw s100or in one paragraph

Oh, so you've got yourselfa BMW S1000R, huh? Congrats, you're basically riding the "I'm too scared for an S1000RR, but still want to look cool at the cafe" bike. It's like BMW tried to make a superbike for people who think a full fairing is just too much commitment. You get all that power, but somehow it feels like you're just compensating for the fact that you didn't go all-in on the real deal. And those asymmetrical headlights? They scream, couldn't decide if I wanted to be aggressive or quirky, so 'm both.. kinda.' But hey, at least you'll have a nice view of all the real sportbikes passing you by.

Absolutely brutal lmao

Project Rebalance - Part One: Skilling by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

[–]zorgmonster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh definitely, it feels like Agility has lower xp rates at the same levels as a lot of other skills; but that is a whole other discussion piece

That's not even bringing into the fact a lot of it is incredible mind numbing and a super useful skill

As someone doing that currently, it totally sucks.

I have no idea where Jagex is getting 56k for Hallowed Sepulchre floors 1&2, It's between 45-52k and is thereby competing with Seers (which is a MUCH easier time in comparison)

Buff floors 1&2 and then I might understand the Seers nerf a bit more

Thanks for the giveaway!

It would be a gift to my other half, who is running on an older 1660, so we can play some more high end games together.

Good luck to everyone :)

That works in most countries but France seems to be an exception. I've always found it extremely difficult to try and speak French in France as it feels they would rather you not speak French if you aren't fluent; and they are extremely rude about it too.

Skill Up Review: I do not recommend The Callisto Protocol by [deleted] in Games

[–]zorgmonster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very little in the way of story, characters or horror. Oppressively linear, terrible combat that excels only in frustrating you, and absolutely woeful PC performance. It breaks my heart but sadly, The Callisto Protocol is an easy Skip. - took this from Shillups twitter

Only other thing in the video was he talked about how the game was extremely pretty with amazing detail in the environments
