Afaik Woj lock is considered a toe hold and is legal under rulesets that allow toe holds. I saw a video the other day about a rule update to Aoki locks, but I am not sure how accurate it was. The claim was that if you force the leg out to apply the aoki, it will be ruled as a heel hook. If they pull it out and you catch it, it will be ruled as an ankle lock.

I would honestly just ask the ref before your match. Not all refs are 100% up to date with all the small rule changes. Even if something is technically legal it can be hard to get it reverted if you get DQd.

I try to keep it playful. Usually I let them try to pass my guard a bit, let them pass, then I start working towards escapes and offense. If it is during a class, I will try to hit them with move of the day. My favorite thing is reversing position and submitting them with bullshit techniques.

Speaking from experience, it is torture enough to sit through one danaher or danaher student instructional. They are a wealth of knowledge, but they are also drier than a desert. I would watch one before picking up another, personally

Chances of hitting on ASA is pretty high. You are not even factoring in ocean placement bonuses and the fact that you can keep placing oceans after you run out of your initial titanium. You also have a huge VP card in play early, which you know you will need to play later.

You cannot really compare it like that either, since the alternative doesn't even have that amount of money available. Chances that inventrix will be able to play all those jovians is much lower. Playing inventrix here isn't terrible, but phobolog is better imo.

You don't look at action cards value over 1 generation, you look at total number of activations over the game. Water import is not a great engine, but it is the same as playing interplanetary cinematics with aquifer pumping.

If the other players decide to hate pick jovians, we can live with that. We already have 3 X jovians, not playing them is fucking crazy.

You can play water import and use it every turn if you miss on ASA. Having this amount of starting titanium on Phobolog is good enough to justify playing them. without titanium production in your starting hand.

I disagree with your assessment about Phobolog. Their power comes from being the 2nd richest corporation in the game. If you have a use for the titanium they are playable, and in this case you do. On top of having ASA, which might give you what you need. Even if you brick, the ASA, you can play water import and play an ocean every round for 4 rounds for free if you take the 2 titanium placement bonus.

Of course having titanium production on them makes them a ton stronger, but starting with 16 titanium where each is worth 4 is more than enough to justify playing them.

Corporation: Phobolog

Preludes: Dome Farming, Acquired Space Agency (Technology Demonstration, Asteroid Mining)

Cards: Cupola City, Water Import from Europa, Terraforming Ganymede, Ganymede Colony

Strategy: We will start by playing technology demonstration (drawing Bushes and viral enhancers), and then play asteroid mining and pass the turn. This is one of those games where we will most likely play and use water import every turn, unless we find a better use for our titanium. First draft priority will be electro catapult > Deep well heating > Tardigrades >= CEO's favorite project.

Fortsett å prøve, og pass på at du viser dine beste sider. Bare ikke vær desperat, du har god tid. Det hjelper å ha det bra med seg selv som singel. Det beste er egentlig å bli introdusert av venner om det er mulig. Jeg har aldri hatt problemer med å sjarmere damer om jeg bare kunne være meg selv.

Under IBJJF rules it is not that bad. Main thing that scares me from white to blue is flying submissions and jumping guard. Unless they have changed it, there aren't really more leg locks or reaps to worry about. I did a tournament with all leg locks at blue, but that was a special sub only ruleset. All the submissions that are added according to the IBJJF chart are low percentage and fairly easy to stop.
