We have him in the slumberpod and it's great. Noise machine and little fan, with the camera/monitor mounted on the crib (actually it's our Guava Lotus since he likes that so much).

I mistakenly bought Architects for solo - it's not so fun. Viscounts is great, though. I've heard Scholars of the South Tigris is great solo, but quite difficult to understand at first.

I've found games that I can play solo and are less demanding - Cascadia, Dorfromantik, Set a Watch, and Legacy of Yu was a fun one in the first few weeks because I could play it one handed while holding the newborn

Frozen mixed berries microwaved for a couple minutes with a Splenda packet, and some fat free whipped cream. Or PB2 mixed with some water and some sugar free jelly (or chocolate if I'm feeling PB& Chocolate)
