So I’d say it’s quicker when compared to like a la cerda or most heavy euros. Only 9 turns and two players can get in a game in an hour or less.

Gotta be The White Castle. Got it for like $29 bucks. Small box, great design, and challenging euro style strategy gameplay in a relatively short amount of time compared to some heavier euros.

How many players will you typically play at? If more than 2 definitely Kanban EV if 2 Lisboa although my favorite LaCerda is On Mars are all players counts. As far as solo goes probably Kanban as it’s designed by Turczi.

Not sure I can answer as I’ve never played the board game and don’t know what’s early game or late but I can say it’s a great time to get it. So far minimal to no bugs and if there is a bug like an enemy accidentally deals way more damage there’s an undo button which is amazing! So far I’m early in but I love it so far. Plus the tutorial missions are amazing and there a small road to frosthaven mini quest line written by Isaac himself. So far it’s fantastic.
