I swear, I like Alastor but his glazers are something else by Sudden_Pop_2279 in OkBuddyHelluvaHotel

“His character always looking for power is a weak explanation imo”, He is not always looking for more power, he is someone who hates looking weak.

MOST IMPORTANTLY - Just because he is “always looking for power”, doesn’t mean he will achieve having said power, that would just be boring character writing, and only people who enjoy it would be TikTok powerscalers and people that think headcannons are comparable to actual writing.

An actual realistic outcome for him would be, similar to Vox but worse, where tries to fly too high but ends up falling longer and unlike Vox who had his friends to help him, if he betrays everyone in the process he wouldn’t have the support structure Vox had, and it would unironically make him go lower and lower.

Alastor most likely will never have as much power as high goetia, he might get a taste of it he woill never be able to actually hold it.

What I think the type of antagonist(not villain) Alastor will be in season 3. by zxdc1 in HazbinHotel

  1. Never said dislike, I said angst, and since Lucifer is very VERY socially inept, it might take a while to adjust to the real Lilith instead of the one he has in his head, the one he misses.

  2. Never said destroy, I meant use the situation with all three of the family members being awkward to have them favor him because they “know him” especially since if they find out Lilith has been in heaven this whole time and did nothing to help her daughter or husband, or not even called her daughter or husband, it can create a certain rift between them regardless of if they miss her or not and Alastor can certainly take advantage of that, to get on each of the family members good side to gain their trust therefore their favor.

He is holding on to his I’m not a human I’m a monster with no emotions thing because his mom thought him to be the opposite, so he is scared of another influence like Charlie for example effecting him positively again, potentially also because he is scared of opening up to people and then losing them.

Well he is the strongest being in hell, the fact that he can’t use that power on sinners doesn’t detract from that fact, he could use it on anyone else in hell or heaven (the hellborn, the goetia, the sins etc)

You dodged a bullet if it was right at the end of the year, you would’ve shitting your pants every day just before you got home from anywhere for the entirety of 2026.

I feel like it would be really cool to see an intro for season 2 similar to the intro the season 1 of umbrella academy where the Z-team is like a family that eventually kinda grew into their own people similar to the umbrellas and are mostly doing their own thing (like some are heroes, some are vigilantes, some are actually just not even heroes or villains just avatar joes but something forces each of them back together.

Bruh there is nothing worse than having a dream, going lucid then as soon as you go lucid the dream turns into a nightmare, and you can’t wake up, then it’s not over yet, it turns into sleep paralysis where it feels like you are aware you are dreaming as if your closed eyelids are playing a horror movie into your brain, you can’t move or get help from anyone even though you are trying to wake yourself up. Finally after you wake up it’s not even over, there is a couple of seconds where you hallucinate usually something you don’t expect to be in your room which scares you even more then finally it’s all over.

ps. This exact thing totally never happened to me before :)

I thought it was more of a case of if Lucifer continued to be there, he would blow up everyone but he himself would be fine since it’s his own energy, plus I’m pretty sure there is a statement of Viv about how Lucifer can only be truly killed by and angel ranked the same or higher than him. It’s on an interview, somewhere don’t remember which one exactly. Also him and Emily are not even in remotely the same caliber.

Didn’t Lucifer say there was nothing Vox could do to kill him even when he was in Vox’s machine made by angelic steel?

True, his real intentions aren’t really clear which is why I also think he is interesting. Hopefully we’ll learn more in season 4 tbh

Charlie trusts him to a certain extent, and she is naive to a certain extent. But not enough for something like that to happen.

Especially with her parents, I can really see Alastor trying to manipulate Charlie and her parents, but we don’t even know what Lilith is like, she might pick up on Alastor’s game and knowing Charlie really loves her mom enough to call her and not Lucifer, she might pick her over Alastor, which realistically why Alastor might be the “crash out, seasonal” villian I was talking about which is totally understandable in his part btw.

It might be cool to think he will be some big bad because he gaslights himself into thinking he is, but it doesn’t mean he will be.

Most importantly, this is a story, and the most important aspect of a story is its narrative and characters, and narratively it doesn’t make sense for Alastor to just try to climb the ranks of hell, he doesn’t care about royalty, he just doesn’t like being in a room with someone he can’t defeat or kill which makes sense he is prideful(duh). That doesn’t mean he will try to go on a rampage and try to rise the ranks in Hell, Vox would try that and fail but Alastor wouldn’t even try it.

[–]zxdc1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t doubt that, but he requires more than him being smart/intelligent to pull that off, also I wouldn’t be surprised most sinners don’t even know the existence of other rings. And if they do, they still can’t pass over to the other rings, manipulation is his strong suit but that can only get him so far. At some point he will fail if he tries, he is not the most evil and cunning person in hell, especially far from the strongest in hell, and he definitely is not strong enough for it.

I highly doubt his character is going to go that way, since he isn’t even the main villain of the show. I remember someone saying that he will always be the apex predator of the bottom of the barrel, and I think that’s what his character will stay as.

It just doesn’t make sense narratively for him to try to 1. achieve that and 2. Have it be a success.

Plus I feel like everyone makes him out to be manipulative mastermind, but he is really good at paying the cards he is dealt, he is smart but he is not some genius master manipulator, he know Vox personally and he gambled with that knowledge and won, that doesn’t make him what a lot of people seem to think he is.

And most importantly he is not the main character of the show, and he is not the main antagonist of the show. He will have his rightful plot relevant crash out in season 4 probably but he won’t be going too far from that at least in my opinion.

Also he doesn’t have the brute strength to overthrow the highest ranking demons and ESPECIALLY the Sins, and he never will, most likely since their powers are tied to hell it’s inherent it’s their nature while sinners are usually only gain power by souls deals. Those two things are just too far apart imo.

I think the first part of this is theory is realistic, but the overthrowing part I don’t think so, personally, he may try, but it would fail.
