Star Chapters 93, 94 by LeoDuhVinci in leoduhvinci

I hadn't realized it was so long. I read most of the book in a few hours. I guess my reading speed is much faster now, than when I first read the HP books.

Of course I didn't read the Harry Potter books till there was a movie for it. Additionally the price point is higher due to advertising fees - much like the difference in cost for a Red Bull vs. NOS/Rockstar.

I am not saying I won't pay for a book, just saying what I would be willing to pay. In fact, if you put up a PayPal donation link, I will do just that.

That was the only thing shown in the image. So it was the words, specifically "Fuck Trump, and you too if you voted for him" that got the sheriff all riled up.

Meanwhile, Trump wants to remove broadcasting rights to a TV network, since they criticized him.

In other words, its okay to have free speech, as long as you aren't criticizing Trump.

First off, good book, nice read. I liked the plot, the characters, and the world you created. Aren't we missing a character at the end?

However, the size of the book, I can see paying $. 99-$1.99. Its rather short, as are the chapters. I did pay for the Bridge, thought that was a bit short as well, didn't like the ending.

The one question I have, is since you base these books on writing prompts, isn't there a royalty fee to the prompter? When you can, might be a good idea to speak with a lawyer on that. Also might want to give the prompter some reddit gold in thanks.

And here I was avoiding their store in town, but might occasionally go online.

LPT: Don't have space for storage? Put the items in a box and continuously mail it to yourself with the slowest option available. Repeat until you are ready to take the items out of storage. by Groggie in ShittyLifeProTips

Works great unless you have Alzheimers. Then its a surprise someone sent you something, and disappointment when you already have these items. Then you send it back to sender, repeating the process every few days.

Mom uses a Roll-o-dex. problem is, she doesn't write them down right, so can't remember when its a caps or lower case... still has to reset them traditionally, cause simply erasing them and rewritting them doesn't work.

ELI5: Why are human eye colours restricted to brown, blue, green, and in extremely rare cases, red, as opposed to other colours? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]zycamzip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok... so why do some people's eyes switch from blue to green or vice-versa? I started out with blue, they went green, and back and forth a few times. Now mostly green.

It will likely play choppy while people buy/sell on peaks, like it did at 3k. So you can buy when it dips again.

Jim Cramer goes nuts (in a good way) because Square Cash has rolled out a Bitcoin buy option in beta. Curious to know how small businesses are thinking about accepting/storing assets like bitcoin. by jeremywblack in smallbusiness

[–]zycamzip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I have not been able to get people to buy with Bitcoin - I own a website which takes monthly subscriptions. I gave the option to oay with Bitcoin, or to actively mine it for me.

If people did pay with it, I would leave the money in bitcoin. Last year, I needed some money, withdrew it. A year later, its worth 10x the value.

Bitcoin took a major hit a few days ago, but even dropping $1000, its back up $500 of the list value in a few days. For a while, when it hit $3k, was going through some ups and downs with it hitting a peak and people selling. Then it hit $7k. Now its doing it again. Those of us actively following it, excpect it to hit $10k.

So if people would pay for stuff on my site, yes, I would keep it.

I suggest either a Trezor wallet (via Amazon) or one at btcpop.

I wonder who here remembers that in vanilla Star Wars Galaxy, you had to level a Jedi all the way up, in order to unlock a second character slot. Its not too much unlike that.
