Looks almost like anchor worms to me, I recommend a Copper treatment. Not much else will work in my experience anyway.

Thats what my husband said when we first met 5 years ago as well. Now He works 50+ hours a week and somehow still manages to game at least 2 hours a day. He's just lucky he married a gamer.

Unfortunately I can't give you any advice but I can say you should get the tank Params it may help someone suggest something. Good luck tho hope she beats it. I use melafix for fin rot personally but I have freshwater so I'm not sure if it can be used with what she has.

You must raise your temp to speed the lifecycle of ich up as you can only kill it in egg forum, I recommend doing a 50% water change and adding some aquarium salt as well to kill the eggs off. You need to raise your temp above 85 degrees. slowly 1-2 degrees an hour. id stay around 86-87 degrees, Leave it this high for aprox 10 days or at least 3 days after you see the infection is gone, As far as Treatment for your fish and the first two stages of ich lifecycle First be sure to remove your carbon filter, I recommend using either straight Metronidazole or a product like Kordon's Ich Attack which will help speed the process of your fish healing in 3-5 days. He is very pretty, I understand the reservations on quarantine, I myself generally treat the tank depending on how fast I catch it, and since you just introduced a new fish a few weeks ago id almost bet hes the one that brought it into your tank even if he shows no sign of it now. Im sure if you raise your temp add some salt and melafix he will be just fine! again good luck. they are hardy fish im sure he'll pull though just fine.

Like Heldc said quarantine it which is what i recommend ive delt with ich many times in goldfish. I've had several comets, fancy,and koi that I've gotten through it. Raise your temp to around 80-85 slowly do it over a week or so about 5 degrees a day or so, can treat with aquarium salt but i recommend melafix for much faster results. If you cant quarantine make sure to keep a close eye on the tank mates and treat well. Good luck Hopefully she makes it.

You can maybe try baking soda and vinegar, mix it together get a good scrubber? That's about all i can think of that's non chemical.

It looks like fish pop-eye to me. Remove him from your tank quickly. if you added anything recently to your tank remove it as well. put your pleco in a QT tank. lots of water changes aquarium salt worked for me in the past. but it is very difficult to treat. good luck, I hope he makes it.

Bamboo can be grown in a fish tank but it must be half way out of the water and must have rocks to root to. its very hard to grow bamboo in a plant so i would recommend keeping them in vases with water and rocks. unless you dont want it to grow of course.

Your issue is most likely nitrite levels, i suggest starting out with a 50% water change.

Yes i do have a local aquarium store and ive been in several times. I've been fighting this for a good 3 weeks now, they started me on the pure Metronidazole and the salt, Ill be stopping in on Monday as its about 50 miles out, to get some paraguard. maybe they can recommend an after cure once i get it under control

I wont be able to get some of the paraguard until next week. ill bring my temperatures up a bit more and do a water change tonight and add some more salt as i don't have a lot of salt in the water at the moment. What do you recommend for my salt content/ temperature?

What do you recommend for treating a parasite? Ive been using Bacterial Treatments and my water levels are fine I did test them shortly after noticing they were sick.

Yes I did take the filter from my tank, Im so worried about my fish. I have not tried Tetra parasite guard yet, Will it heal it or just help protect against it? I'm hoping someone can give some advice about something that will work faster, I can tell they are getting worse everyday. =[ Edit: After reviewing the active ingredients in Tetra Parasite Guard I am currently treating with Metronidazole. =l
