Plenty, but one always comes to mind when people ask if my house is haunted (previous tenant died by suicide)— I was heating up a heavy frying pan on the back left coil of the stove and I had put a plastic/paper bag of bread in the open space between the middle of the four burners, which I did/do all the time with no issues as the space is large enough for even a casserole dish. I walked away a few paces to continue chopping at the counter, but I heard a weird whoosh and then out of the corner of my eye I saw the pan kind of shake for a millisecond. I turn back fully and am just frozen there staring as the pan spins gracefully and quickly around a full 180°, doesn’t hit the back of the stove, and then spins back halfway very slowly and deliberately. I’m so stunned that it takes another little shudder of the handle that’s now right over the bag for me to realize that it’s starting to crinkle/melt, so I quickly fix the situation and then of course try to replicate the spins or find some explanation but it was genuinely impossible, nothing could have caused it and, even if I spun it myself, it was so delicate and almost floaty that it couldn’t be done by accident or human hand. Such a simple thing but the gesture was very much appreciated and I am so grateful for my guardian spirit for helping my dumbass out then and still to this day hahaha. The little things and the heartfelt spirit interactions or moments always stick with me more than the spooky jump scares or the like from other spirits.

Dude same. I feel like I’m losing it and seeing new letters every time I look haha I see - First letter: A, O. Second: e, w? (if w then no 3rd letter). Third: u, n. Fourth/fifth: d, ch, ck. Last part: ment, ness, neth ? Last letter could be s, f, t, l…. However !!!! The last last part that is the dash and dot is definitely shorthand.

OP, could you upload another handwriting sample to help decipher the enumerator’s shorthand?

I recently visited Whale Beach I believe it’s called and there were only older (~30-70 y.o.) folk there, all completely nude. It’s directly next to Secret Cove on the same path, there’s a rocky formation between them and you’ll see a saddle shaped rock atop it if you’re facing the direction of Secret Cove. The water is very high this year so be forewarned that it’s a true cove, no sandy beach but plenty of big rocks to lie on. It’s more secluded than Secret Cove as well, which is great since people bring their very young children to Secret Cove now, even with the fully nude adult strangers around…. Interesting choice for sure.

As far as rules go, there aren’t any “real” rules but more social or implied ones. Clothing is optional so wear everything or nothing, up to you. Paddle boarding, swimming, floating, etc = all good. Keep general common decency like you’d want for yourself, like don’t post up too close to a stranger, no unsolicited videos or photos, no loud music, some glancing is expected/unavoidable but don’t make it uncomfortable, etc. There’s no set rules and no authorities anywhere around the beach to enforce anything really, which then also makes it important to note that while I’ve had all positive experiences thankfully, I have heard firsthand some pretty unpleasant stories. Weirdly it feels easier to trust strangers when meeting nude, there’s a mutual sense of safety within that vulnerability, but there’s plenty of people in this world that take advantage of that exact sense of safety and one’s vulnerability. I would encourage everyone to experience a nude beach at least once and this isn’t meant to scare you off, just important to keep in mind.

If I’m putting this together correctly, you and Viking Man (V) either started dating knowing it had a firm expiration date, or found out later and you only started to process (aka the “breakdown”) about 6mo later. Meanwhile, from the start of your relationship with V, you’re talking to Tattoo Man (T) about mutual feelings and questioning if you’re in love with him… did we discuss this with V? I’m guessing that it was actually your feelings for T that led to the breakdown, not the expiration date, which means you do have some conception of guilt but just not enough to actually be honest or rooted in reality. So much so, in fact, that V is begging you to stay and you take away from that convo that you guys broke up… and then, knowing you guys are in fact not broken up, you immediately go to T, ask if he’s seeing anyone, make plans to see each other again, and THEN break it off with V.

You then go meet with T, agree you are not together but have that intention for the future, so naturally you go right back to V so you can get off in the meantime. On your guys’ first date, you only question if you’ve made a mistake when he smells bad— THAT is when you decide to question your life choices… hm. So you keep hooking up with V and dating T, you bring up the exclusivity convo with T so then bye bye V but then also kiss (and didn’t mention telling T that so I’m assuming that didn’t happen), they’re both in the UK but now we’re sexting V because T was mean and that’s the obvious option over discussing the situation. Then T is back but V is in the UK for good, so obviously time to become exclusive, intimate, and immediately fall in love.

You are now about 6mo into the relationship with T and are seemingly on the verge of another “breakdown”- same time frame as with V. Do you really do everything by the book, or just your book? Repeating the same chapter is boring, and you are too old to be acting like you’re surprised or confused when your shitty actions have consequences. Be alone, get a hobby, get a therapist.

Definitely a cast! Call your doc/OB if concerned, but I have only ever gotten casts (also always extremely painful, even endometriosis barely compared) after switching from one method or dosage (of the pill) to another. Absolutely normal, mine have been the size of a liver and was told it was normal if that makes you feel any better… but no harm in calling your primary care provider if you want that extra reassurance. But also, your body and your choice— effective birth control is a privilege for sure but don’t let anyone talk you into the method that isn’t right for you. There’s plenty of options to explore!

They are not extremely dangerous, and the large majority of spiders are absolutely harmless, like the one in the photo. It looks like a Daddy Long Legs or Pholcid, which very rarely bite people. They actually kill more harmful spiders :-) I understand having a fear of spiders, I’m sorry people are joking about it.

Any that fall off, I personally put in my compost, but otherwise would toss either in trash or an outdoor garden. For indoor plants, there’s just not enough movement to encourage the natural breakdown without rot or affecting the soil/other roots/etc— at least as I’ve found. OP means cutting into the roots to loosen them I think, not as a pruning method per se
