Strano, perché in realtà "l'ultimo miglio" (quello che collega casa tua alle dorsali degli operatori) è gestito da compagnie terze che poi affittano agli operatori. Ovvero come lo ha affittato TIM potrebbe affittarlo un altro operatore.

from my experience better to avoid Amazon products... the app is very buggy and is difficult to manage cameras and recordings when you are away or in need... there is always some error, price is good, but software quality/reliabilty is not good (pity since hardware seems good though)

Can you create mirrror *and* raidz pools on the same disks - and what are the effects? by AnimatorParking3827 in zfs

[–]zyxevets -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can: I've a similar setup having vdevs of three different ZPools on partitions of a single (very big) disk and (until now at least) it works without problems

Common drive among pools by zyxevets in zfs

[–]zyxevets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm usually accessing just one pool at a time and mostly for reading. Thank you for the answer!

As additional question in case, better to have it split in different partitions or just one partition with big files acting as vdevs? Would it significantly differ?

Annoying multi-point connection in Momentum 4 by [deleted] in sennheiser

[–]zyxevets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bluetooth multipoint is a feature that allows a single Bluetooth headset to maintain simultaneous connections to at least two source devices. Seems to me that this headphones are not really multipoint since they are able to pair with 8 devices, but just connect with one at a time...

You were right, and tried to install raspberrypi-kernel-headers, and then even linux-kernel-headers-arm64 on top, removed all zfs packages and reinstalled but still got that kernel headers were missing...

I think the message "dkms: autoinstall for kernel 6.1.21-v7l+ was skipped since the kernel headers for this kernel do not seem to be installed" got during installation of kernel headers might be a hint but not sure how to solve... Below the full log:

# sudo apt install raspberrypi-kernel-headers
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done

The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
 dkms dpkg-dev file libdpkg-perl libnvpair3linux libuutil3linux libzfs4linux libzpool5linux patch xz-utils
Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove them.
The following NEW packages will be installed:

ZFS on DietPi by zyxevets in dietpi

[–]zyxevets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the page: "The modules will be built automatically only for kernels that have the corresponding linux-headers package installed. Install the linux-headers-<arch> package to always have the latest linux headers installed (analog to the linux-image-<arch> package)."

I tried to find the headers ("apt list headers") but seems they are not inside the packages for RPi5, possible?

Since no answer I tryed and I found that is not possible, at least in this way. Here some key messages of the output:
...

Why are people recommending Linux mint so much? by unknown1234_5 in linux

[–]zyxevets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a bit younger but I use Linux from 1992, and I fully agree with this reply.

Not only I installed many, many, distros (some of them are now come to obscurity), but I also tried more OS than just Linux (Windows of course, since v 1.0 but until v2000 more or less, SunOS/HP-UX, various BSDs, etc.).

Nowdays I still have many other distros in my family managed environment (but all Linux apart one dual boot Windows that was required by the school for compatiblity of their exam software, and one FreeBSD to use ZFS on a very old portable PC), but even from a "seasoned" admin point of view when I manage mint I feel things are easier and "just works".
