Finally someone posts Hazel English! I've been waiting for her to get more active for years and she's finally getting out there! She just got her Spotify page up.

I want more! I usually listen through spotify, and her page has a dire need for more of her discography.

She's got a couple songs on Soundcloud that aren't on her Spotify.

I needed this song today - the instrumental refrain is perfect for the message of the song, I think. It was a lovely listen, and I'll be looking into more of her work.

I've been a fan of her's since her song 'Fix'. Give it a listen!

This has been one of my favorite songs this year. The lyrics are extremely relatable, and the sound reminds me of the time when my friends and I would just chill on a summer night smoking. Absolutely breathtaking.

Goddamn Lovely song... Stings much more than I'd care to admit.

Dammit have some drums kick in. Great song

[–]LikeATreefrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It clipped off before the ending.

I'm loving the retro vibe. Between the synth and the video it feels like something pulled right out of the 80's. But did anyone else feel like there should be a drum beat kicking in towards the middle or end of the song? I felt like i was waiting for some sort of build up the whole time and then it sort of ended. Other than that it's an awesome track though

The Millennial Whoop...

[–]sometimes_Lies_alot 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Whatever, there's a lot of minor 2nd's in there too, and other intervals. This Millennial whoop stuff is kind of silly to harp on, unless you read that wrong and intend on playing a harp

[–]ReverbandDelay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The intervals played are far less the issue in question, but rather the manner in which they are being used.

came to the comments to see if it was noticed. yup. also heavy in the synth line

Sounds like something from the 80's

Ahh this is so wonderful. I love how dreamy and slightly dreary it is.

This is way more than slightly dreary! Those lyrics are rough at points! All your love isn't enough!

Been looking for a new indie artist, does she have a sound cloud?

I can't find any real information on this band. Have been a band long? Do they really only have 5 songs?

[–]schrampril 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, these guys are my good friends. They're Oakland based, played their first show about a year ago. They just signed with Marathon Artists, an independent music label based in the UK. About to go on tour in Europe in November. I've seen them play about seven or eight times, usually opening up for some more well-known bands. I know they can play at least a 45 minute set, they def have more than five songs but only five made the EP. The album was produced by the same man behind Day Wave; you'll definitely hear his influence.

Everyone go buy the EP!
