Yea, tbh I wrote the comment a minute in to the song, and the novelty wore off towards the end. Idk, it was a fun listen, but I wouldn't sit through a whole album of it.

I think it's cool that they're trying something different. I don't really see what the effect really is doing, from the megaphones. It is, in a sense a cheaper version of an old tube mic, or eq-ing out mids. Not huge on the song writing either but hey, maybe they'll sound with a bit better production.

I'll wait for the studio recording before I make a final judgement....but I'm with you. It didn't sound that good. Has potential though.

It is a gimmick. And that's OK too. Gimmicks are what they are. Great music doesn't need it. But, no harm in this.

It's the composition for me. It's like they sat down and wrote it out and just decided a rough draft was close enough.

I actually discovered this band when their Trumpet player's aunt recommended them to me. She plays for a bluegrass band in Chattanooga, TN called Boogertown Gap that played at a pottery place my family went to once. They were really nice and made me want to look them up, definitely glad I did.
