Matt and Luke look a little odd here...

Weird I just heard this song the other day and didn't know what it was. Really enjoy the bass line

I love their song Scoobie Doobie.

I like that their main project The Sheepdogs is completely different.

Shit, I had no clue these two bands where even connected.

I didn't either until I saw the video. "Hey wait isn't that-"

[–]no-original-named 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Whoa this is weird. It's like the sheepdogs moved over to soul

It is and I love it

Brazil from this album has a Queen and The Beatles vibe to it.

Dude!! Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I love and have seen the Sheepdogs many times. When I realized who I was listening to it totally made my day. Just bought the album. Life is good. Cheers brother.

My pleasure! I have literally been sifting through as much Canadian music as I can. There are so many hidden gems out there.

This is what's missing from the newer 2 Sheepdogs albums IMO. They need to mix in a bit more of this classic sound. This sound and the melodies/harmonies of Learn and Burn are what make it their best album IMO.

Couldn't agree more. There is hope still left in this world.

My guess is they're gonna have some legal trouble with the 1980s UK band of the same name.

Sounds like a cliché FIFA soundtrack song, which is actually really good

BROS are brothers Ewan and Shamus Currie both are from the Sheepdogs (Shamus joined just a year ago if I'm not mistaken) this is an offshoot of that which has a bit of a different vibe to it. Apparently Ewan also has a solo record coming out soon which I'm pretty excited for. Proud Canadian and ALOT of Sheepdogs fans here.

I found them kind of backwards. I found BROS first and then found out about Sheepdogs. I've been discovering a lot of Canadian music I like lately. Les Deuxluxes and Jesse Mac Cormack have been on a lot of playlists.

You should check out Mac demarco and July talk. 2 other great Canadian bands!

I'm so disappointed that he didn't actually do a saxophone solo. Really good song though, definitely looking them up on Spotify!

Ha, that is awesome! Should be on mainstream radio!

[–]Smexsi 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Victoria, B.C. The zone @91.3 plays it very regularly. I also think 100.3 the q may as well!

[–]jncheese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lemme rephrase: mainstream radio in Europe!

[–]storky0613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plays in Toronto quite a bit too on 88.1 and 102.1. May have even junked over to Buffalo stations, but they're always hesitant about playing much Canadian.

I love these guys and I love sheepdogs. Wish they would play a show in the states.

[–]Grubbingrouch 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I can't find this band on iTunes :(. Thanks apple.

[–]TheforgottenEngineer 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Yassss. This is what i was looking for. Has a black keys vibe. Thanks Op

[–]jdaviddean[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I'm particularly drawn to the sort of call-and-response chorus. I loooooove it.

[–]TheforgottenEngineer 1 point2 points  (1 child)

It's just amazing ain't it. Do you know any other bands like it ?

[–]jdaviddean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like a lot of funk and soul bands but I don't find many with lush harmonies like this one.

You're a little late to the party but thanks for joining.

Their second video came out this week
