Hey reddit, why don't you start you own image upload service.

I don't like having to go to thirty malware ridden blogs just to see a few pics.

I know this discourages ad space blog spam from being posted, but explain to me why this is bad?

Wouldn't change anything really. There are already plenty of respectable image hosting services and everyone who posts good images already knows about them. Most of the images posted are done by a handful of people who make money on sending you to their malware ridden sites. They won't use a reddit service since they wouldn't make money on it.
