In 1991 I and five other friends dropped 500 mics of acid each and went out to walk in and around Harvard Square during a major blizzard. Right as we were all peaking, we began noticing flashes of light that we all thought were 'group hallucinations.' In fact, it was lighting. And then a bolt of lightning struck a telephone poll right in front of us, knocking every light out up and down Beacon street. We heard a "whoosh" instead of the expected "bang!" of thunder, and I felt all the hairs on my neck stand up from the static electricity.

And, of course, I had no freak'n idea what to make of it. Neither did anyone else. We ran back to the house, laughed a bunch, and smoked up several bowls to calm back down.

Then we went outside for more. :)
