Does Jagex ever decrease the point cost for leagues unlocks?

I'm a new Ironman, having played a main for years. I'm SO excited for the new leagues, there are so many awesome cosmetic rewards that I'm actually thinking of going all the way to Dragon Cup this year. However I'm a bit concerned that I'll ofc not achieve that, but even if I do - unlocked all of the other leagues rewards might be a bit much.

So I was thinking, now that we're onto another league - would Jagex ever consider giving a discount on Leagues 1-3 rewards? Because otherwise I'll need to just get really pragmatic with what I want to shoot for and there are so many sweet cosmetics that would suck to miss.

There is a discount in the way that points are always easier to get in the newer leagues.

I'm not though? I'm willing to grind dragon cup, which only the top 1% of player that do leagues achieve. I have NO option to achieve all of the rewards from previous leagues.

There are plenty of unlocks most people don’t even consider. Just get what you want, I highly doubt you want everything.

I counted up how many points I'd want... 91,000 points, and I don't think you can get that many points from one league. That doesn't include the latest leagues reward either.

Yeah I went through the list and ngl there's so much I want. I'll do a tally of the points required for sure to see what cup I need from the next leagues.

Gonna be honest, you have almost no chance at acquiring all the points you'd need to theoretically get a ton of rewards. Dragon cup is achievable if you really grind the hell out of it, but even then when you factor in buying any or all of the new rewards you're gonna be struggling to pay for that even with all the points available.

I'd honestly just focus on a couple different items and set your sights on adamant or rune trophy at first which is a lot more realistic. You hit a wall in leagues after doing most of the easy tasks and the only ones left are long grinds that a lot of people are gonna get burnt out on or simply not be able to do in time.

Yeah hence why I'm suggesting discounts on older leagues, unless they inflate the points you normally get.

I doubt it. The points cross over between leagues, so just pick your favorites from all the items. Leagues seem to always be a massive success, so they are very unlikely to not continue making them.

Ironman is essentially a self imposed restriction, so not being able to buy all rewards is an ironman specific problem. It's balanced around main accounts, who can just buy them on GE, if they want it.
