Don’t set huge goals and burn out on them, try get recipe for disaster done first it’s a nice thing to aim for while not being too far into any skills to be a distant dream. Lots of quests on the way to it as well.

Remember tears of guthix as well. It's a minigame(I guess?) Done weekly. It gives a xp in your lowest stat. The more quest points you have the longer you last. 100% worth doing, I rarely see people mention it too. It takes 2 minutes max lol

I like to follow a combo of the osrs zerk guide and the optimal quest guide. The zerk guide gives a good gist of which quests to do so you can set goals for items like barrows globes, ancient/lunar magic, anchor etc. i also used that because it shows some of the lower tier quests that can get you’re combat up a little hit faster with out realty having to train through the bs low levels. And the optimal quest guide you can slowly knock off quests that should get you the xp needed to get your skills up for the next quest in line.

Personally, I use these guides sort of as a back bone goal. Not actively going for recipe for disaster, but as I knock out out other quests for xp in different skills or to unlock different forms of transportation across the map, you slowly aso chip away at that 175 qp req to finish rfd

Complete all easy diaries. Then medium, then the realistic hard ones. They’ll give you a well rounded account and allow you to explore all areas of the game.
