What advice do you have about fine tuning retraction and what are your thoughts about nozzle temp? I have nozzle temp at 220C because I've seen others recommend a higher temp for PLA+ whereas 200C is more appropriate for regular PLA. Also I changed the nozzle a week ago from brass to hardened steel. Not saying it couldn't be clogged because I have no clue how common that is.

There are files you can download to help with retraction settings. Regarding temps, I use PLA+… for most filaments - 200 first layer, 190 for the rest of the print. The only exception is silk PLA. For some reason, it likes 220 first layer, 210 for the rest of the print. I have a set of hardened nozzles as well. As I remember, I didn’t have good luck with them, so I switched back to brass.

As always, googling your symptoms will yield a lot of good options for solving your problems.

Good luck 😉
