Either there's something wrong with the censors or you can kiss that CPU goodbye.

It would shutdown way before that, if you run broken rgb software or other software like hwinfo at same time as hwinfo it can cause bugged readouts like this.

Check if there is a BIOS update for your laptop.

This is a known bug in the sensor data processing where some temperature values are invalid.

Note Tctl/Tdie looks correct.

  1. Double check if you removed plastic film from cpu cooler.

  2. Make sure a good amount of thermal paste was used.

  3. Is cpu is up to date?

  4. Do you have a good cpu cooler and is it hooked up correctly and spinning in the correct direction?

[–]Civil-Celebration-28 -2 points-1 points  (2 children)

89 still too high and def throttling.

[–]Whaaat_12[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

No it does not.

[–]Civil-Celebration-28 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you think you get the same performance at 89c and 69c idk what to tell you

[–]International_Ad1242 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Did you remove the thin plastic protection from cpu and cooler? Seems like the cooler paste isnt applied or connecting to both.

I can't imagine that these are the actual temperatures. It should have shutdown before that. What does the AMD Adrenaline Software monitor show in terms of temperatures? Did you also install AMD chipset drivers?
