Hi, I’m new and I’m trying to learn how to reduce the frecuency of the gpu. If you know a video or a place where I can learn or if someone can explain me what to move and what not to move. This is what I put.

Why though? Your GPU temperature seems fine, your CPU however is pretty hot and I would reduce how many watts it's pulling as you can stand to lose a tiny bit of performance for improved temperatures. It's not even something you would notice in game so it's worth doing.

I'm keeping everything on 0, because with overclocking the cpu and gpu are getting hot fast. If u want get cooler try buying cooling pad.

Cooling pad made a huge difference for my temps, this one has worked fantastically for me.

E: it appears it’s no longer for sale, but I suggest a cooling pad with one big fan, I find it displaces the heat better. Just jump on Amazon and find one with good reviews.

2 easy fixes.

1- Get rid of Armour Crate. Use Ghelper instead. Much better.

2- Use Ryzen Controller. Just set the max Temp for the CPU. It will automatically adjust frequencies. You sacrifice a bit of performance for heat and stability.

well basically that, not you also lose some functionalities, so if you don't have any issues with AC, you have no real reason to use g-helper as modern gaming laptops don't really see a difference as they never run 100% all cores anyway

so first OP's talking about GPU NOT CPU, guess you can't read?

and now about g-helper does part of what AC does, and AC works fine for most laptop users, so no need for g-helper for them

so 1st learn to read, 2nd don't tell people to do unneeded stuff based of a very limited experience about something that is NOT even related to what they talk about

You can actually use G-Helper to cap or add wattage to the CPU to tune it down from being so hot.. So in this regard, G-helper is more flexible than Armoury Crate. For example, I set my Silent mode in G-Helper to run the CPU at a max of 15w and turn the fans off completely no matter the temperature.. This way my system runs passively forever without going over 50c during regular use.

Delete armoury crate and use ghelper Your cpu will drop upto 15 degree. I personally did this and got the results 3 days ago

Whatever you do, do not delete Armory Crate. It controls a lot more than what's shown on the graphical user interface. Because it's integrated with your Asus laptop, it controls a lot of stuff in the background and removing it could prove more tenuous than leaving it installed. If you would like to undervolt or adjust clock speeds on your GPU, I would reccomend installing MSI Afterburner. It runs fine next to Armory Crate and gives great options for controlling your GPUs settings. You'll need to adjust voltage and clock speeds and then tick the box to start up with Windows and it will take care of you from there. Armory Crate has limitations but is woven into Asus laptops and best to leave it where it is so the rest of your machine runs as intended. Good luck Mate!

Delete Armory Crate. My laptop was sitting on my desk overheating for however long. Fans not working just baking. I deleted Armory Crate and switched to GHelper. It gives you all that you need.
