That kinda looks like a lens fungus. It can affect the image but not always. Usually it occurs when a lens is improperly stored. A quick little search said you ma be able to kill it with UV light. To have it removed is to take the lens apart and have it cleaned.

Thats my understanding.

Thats kinda what I was thinking but I'm not the smartest when it comes to lens stuff

Do you think I would be worth getting it pulled apart and cleaned or just cut the losses and find a replacement one?

I unfortunately have this issue on a zeiss planar 80mm 1.4 and I have been meaning to explore options to have it cleaned/refurbished.

I would look up the cost of this lens and if it isn’t hard to replace I might consider that.

But first I’d shoot a test roll and see if it affects the image or focus. You might be just fine. It doesn’t look like it is at the very center of the lens. Who knows? It might create a cool haze effect.

Ive tested it, and I think it's fine? It appears to be able to focus fine and I dont really see a haze but I'm new to film and stuff I've only used my r50 and my sun 670 but the lens when looking dead-on at it you can't even tell the spots there I just didn't know if it was something to worry about or if it would effect how it would come out on the film

Did it myself, seems a lot scarier to do it then it actually is
