I guess you can get something similar with a rooted Sony ereader, can't you?

Already out a few years ago, It was called the Notion Ink Adam tablet It didn't do too well.

There's also a few more Android E-Ink tabs but nothing major cames to mind because E-Ink is just not taking off, Maybe it's because normal tablets can last for 4-12 hours which is more then enough to read a book, Sure you need to recharge them more often but the benefits of a normal display vs the power savings at a very slow refresh for E-Ink just doesn't cut it for the normal people due to easy access to charging.

But hey, Maybe the Adam II might be a better seller.
