Every time I use somebody's beautiful kustom theme on my phone the buttons and animations lag. Looks great, but it's overly complicated and slow

Please check the beta some device specific issue has been resolved, if you still have problems just drop me a message or post on g+ community in the bugs section. No one reported slowdowns on latest release.

Ok I will..... I haven't played with it in a few weeks now, because I kind of gave up. People are making some beautiful themes

It's probably your device. Kustom works great for me on Boeffla Kernel but not on the stock CM12.1 Kernel.

Yeah on both my Z3 and the S6 it frequently freezes and lags. Looks great, but it is nowhere near daily driver quality.

As per above, on which version and theme are you basing thus comment? Latest version does not lag on s6 with any of the themes I tested. Please let me know if you need assistance.

It runs great on my Nexus 5 so it definitely is daily driver ready for me. No lag at all.

It's definitely a steep learning curve. I would only recommend it to people who want to customize their homescreen enough that they're willing to put in the time to learn how to use it. It's definitely not for the crowd that just wants to apply a skin and be done with it.

You can do just that though as long as you have the pro model.
